Hearthstone Is Too Fun
Apr. 26th, 2014 09:36 pmI blew a good portion of my afternoon leveling up the Mage character and unlocking cards for her deck. XD It really is great, though. The game starts out with a quick tutorial showing you all the ropes, then unlocks all the good stuff. You have to sign up for an account with the Blizzard site, but it's just the usual stuff you do when signing up for any other site. So far things have been fun -- I'm getting a feel for how the cards work, and what you can do with them. I've also unlocked most of the heroes -- I just need the Warrior and the Shaman, I believe. (Or was it the Druid? I'm reluctant to check because I just know I'll succumb to the urge to play a match.) Jaina, the Mage, is leveled up to 10, meaning I've unlocked all her basic cards and earned a few booster packs. :) I even did one bit of online play to fulfill a quest -- got my ass kicked, but hey. I'll probably start deck creation once I've gotten a bit more practice in and learned just what I can do with certain cards. I'm already thinking of how I can make decks themed around Victor, Alice, Doc. . . :P My battletag is even Valice75. XD
It really is a great game, though. The rules are easy to pick up, and I like the various animations. I'm glad I got it! :)
Anyway, thanks to that and it being rainy, there's not much else to report. Hatched my Arbor dragon in DragonVale -- came with the name Terra. He's a little cutie. Also hatched my Bronze Olympus -- he came with the name Jupiter, but I renamed him Zeus to keep with the theme properly. I'm also getting my Solar Eclipse. :) And egg hoarding is going well -- I'm above the 600 mark. Still kind of want the Lost Island (weirdly enough, so I can stash the Storage Tower and Hibernation Cave on it now), but I shall be strong! I also made Level 33, so a Giant Light Habitat shall be built sometime in the near future.
As it is right now, I've got RP to tend to, so later!

Profit breeding and egg hoarding. Total thus far is 548 and by the end if I counted right I'll have 768 plus 40 or 50 depending on what Hydro wins tonight, so 808 (161-ish gems) or 818 (163-ish gems).
That's all really. We're having a second Easter at Ed's mom's house because she was sick last week.

Date: 2014-04-28 12:17 am (UTC)Gautana won a Silver and Terra's in Plant. I'm up to 833 eggs right now, and by the end of the event I should have about 949 or so -- which is 189 or thereabouts in gems. Considering I'm almost at 300 with my regular gem gathering. . .well. I'm feeling good. (Still a little sad about not being able to snag the island, but a pile of gems IS a good consolation prize.)
Aww, nice. :)

Date: 2014-04-28 12:59 am (UTC)Yeah, DragonVale will be first.
Though if the phone keeps effing me up, it's time for a new one. Well, time for Ed to get a new one and me to get his. We'll see what happens.
