Another Saturday Housesitting

crossover_chickThis is actually my second time here today -- Mom was interviewing another candidate for helping her out with her job, so I came over for a hour earlier. Now I'm here for however long the owners are out. Got my devices, and I'm caught up on Helloween, so can't complain.
I also watched one of the episodes of MLP:FIM I've been missing -- "Inspiration Manifestation." Interesting episode -- and while I can understand people calling Spike kind of dumb in this episode (which he was), let's face it -- our favorite little dragon NEVER thinks clearly around his crush. I'll probably watch the Equestria Games episode tomorrow at some point, and then do the final two-parter next weekend. Gosh, I used to be so pumped for this show, and now I'm dragging my feet actually finishing a season. . . I just haven't liked things as much this go-round, I'm sorry to say.
On the iPad side of life, no luck getting an out-of-season Gemstone yet. Still got about a day or so, though, so I'll keep trying. I did better on the Hearthstone side of things -- three matches with Anduin, with one loss and two wins. And the one loss was to another Anduin. XD Just knew how to handle his cards better than me. I still think he's an amazing character when it comes to cards -- so much good stuff that's so cheap! :D I definitely have to level him up more.
On the writing side, finished off another chunk of "In The Land of the Dead," which is nice. I've decided to alternate that with edits on "Forgetting You" so I can have updates of something while I work. It may not be completely new, but at least it's something. On that front, the updated Chapter 1 of FoY is up on my website, along with the landing page for the story -- see it here.
