The Gods of RIpta Are Angry

crossover_chickApparently me managing to catch my afternoon bus yesterday despite everything really pissed them off -- I ended up stuck this morning on a near-parking-lot highway. AFTER we lost some time because the bus's fare box refused to work. I managed to get to school on time, but just barely, and I had to take the latest bus that got there before 9. This has set me back pretty hard in keeping up with tumblr and suchlike. Meeeh.
And this afternoon there was an accident of some sort involving a RIpta bus that screwed up the whole "go into/come out of" business at Kennedy Plaza. Fortunately that one didn't make me late -- in fact, I was smart this time and jumped on an earlier bus specifically to avoid that issue. Got home normal time, which was nice -- had to walk home in misting rain, which wasn't. It's cold out too -- isn't it almost June? Can we not have days like this anymore?
In other news, working on leveling up the Shaman character, Thrall -- won two bouts against the Innkeeper in Practice Mode. I'm gonna keep working on him and take him out to play in the "real world" later this week. In DragonVale, my Platinum's in the nursery and will hatch sometime on Friday, if my calculations are correct. I also rearranged a few dragons so all my tree-based dragons are together in one Earth habitat. Been working on a gradual transition to as many Giant Habitats as I can manage to speed up money-gathering, may do more with that this weekend.
And yes, the cough continues to hang on, though it was a little better today. Hopefully it'll be plain old GONE soon enough.
Anyway, supper will be on shortly, and then I gotta get to work on tags again. Later all -- and hope for a warm-up!
