Dear LORD, A Busy Birthday

At least on Tumblr -- Forgotten Vows had a SHITLOAD of tags, I swear. I guess I'm glad he's so well-loved, but it can be a pain to try and keep up with everything, I can tell you! *thunks head against desk* I think I've gotten a few second's breathing room, though, so quick updates:

-->Got the inkwell_bar update up: Quad-Birthday Though yet again, I could only come up with a present for Forgotten Vows -- I thought I had something for Marty, but then I remembered I'd given it to him earlier. . .that's the problem with these posts now; I've pretty much covered ALL the good presents.

-->I found Oreos as my birthday treat today -- a six-pack that I'm splitting up into a "two-a-day" thing. That way the calorie count isn't quite as bad and I get to have delicious cookies for longer. :P

-->Weather was rather "meh" after such a spectacular weekend -- most of it was mid-60s and kind of rainy. First day I've worn a "real" skirt -- as in, not part of a Halloween costume -- in years too. Figures. Still, it was fun.

-->Wrote on "In the Land of the Dead" -- though, instead of continuing from my current point, I decided I ought to write something Victor-focused and skipped ahead to a future scene where Bumby shows up dead and accidentally lets his involvement in Victor's life slip. Dunno how badly it's gonna be revised when I actually get to that part, but it's nice to have and makes me feel productive.

-->Won both my games in Hearthstone, including my first with Uther. :)

-->I'M GETTING ONE OF THE WINTER DRAGONS IN THE DOWN UNDER RELEASE :D With less than a day to go, I've managed to score the Gift! I'll keep trying until tomorrow -- I've still got some time to work with -- but hey, at least I got one! And I seriously thought this was a promotion that would pass me by! Hooray for being proven wrong.

Okay, I've gotta wrap things up tag-wise and see if I can get to bed at a decent hour. Later, all!

I seriously wish you could gift dragons instead of gems (and across platforms) because I have TWO Reindeer eggs sitting in my Nursery and I would happily give one to you if I could. >.< I didn't get a Mistletoe, however Spike and Ceres decided to grace me with an Arctic, so that's something at least. I was actually trying for an Arctic with Yiruma and Tundra, but I guess the magic's aim was off or something, lol. Reindeer only sell for the "meh" amount of 100,000. Still, something's better than nothing.

So now I guess I'm just gonna go down my spreadsheet and start breeding the hybrids I need to fill in my slots until they release the Bearded (or whatever...who knows with BFS...).

Dusty had won a Gold and Ozzy's in Metal.

I accidentally built a Large Air Habitat that I didn't actually need because I derped again when I did my spreadsheet (I had Miasma listed twice...one in a Dark Habitat and one in an Air), so I'm probably gonna just sell it. I can't bring myself to spend the 50 gems to upgrade the Storage Tower yet.

I think I'm gonna try for a Sulfur first. Maybe if anything I'll get a Gold out of it to keep Skeeter and Aureus company, lol. Edit: Nevermind. Bearded is live. I need to wait for the Forge they decided to make to get out of the EBI.

No need, Gigs -- I ended up getting the Reindeer as a last-minute sneak-in. :D So all in all, we ended up getting the exact same dragons during this promotion! XD And I named my Reindeer "Sven" too -- he was originally Berg, wtf. My Gift is Kringle. :P So yaaay!

That would have been a great plan if they hadn't immediately released the bearded. XD I'm trying with Everest and Jethro, and kind of hoping that they give me a Bronze as well as a Bearded. Don't mind buying another Treasure habitat.

Penny won Gold in Metal, I've got Alice in Air. Come on Butterfly!

Whoops -- ah well. I don't blame you for not wanting to spend the gems -- I'm using mine sparingly too.
