Took The Day Off

Came to the conclusion that I needed a day off major RP activity when I ended up coming into Providence too late for my regular bus in the pouring rain. I did draft out pretty much every reply I needed, though, and those are all queued up for tomorrow. Mainly I just needed a day where I felt like I could fuck around a bit if I wanted to. And that's just what I did, so yay. :)

No Hearthstone today -- maintenance on Blizzard's side forbid. Some nice news in DragonVale, though -- got a Reindeer to go along with my Gift. :D I'll have pictures tomorrow for Weyr Wednesday. Gift, Kringle, is living on the Opposites island with Snowflame and Whitefang; Reindeer, Sven, is on the Plant/Lightning island. The Bearded Dragon, the Father's Day dragon, is also live now, so I'll be trying for that during the rest of the week.

Good chunk written on "In the Land of the Dead." Feel like I'm making good progress with that now. Fingers crossed I can keep it up.

And now I have to answer a couple more things, catch up with a few others, and hit the sheets. Later!

Ah, Tuesdays. The only day when Warcrackcraft players sleep because the game is down for maintenence. :p I remember those days... "Dammit, I have a quest to turn in! Stop maintenencing game and LET ME IN!! *RAWR!*" ^^ For the record, my main was a Warlock named "Badwolf" (and yes I realize the Rose reference...this was in 2005 during Series One before she started pissing me off) and I chose the Warlock because this summon (I hope there's a picture...work computers block it if there is) was the mount you got at level 20 - I plan on making a costume for Shada one of these days. I called it the Flamey Horsey, lol.

So Ozzy'd won a Silver and Slythe is in Air.

No Bearded yet. The first attempt is getting me either another Arctic or another Scoria. I'm still trying for the Sulfur but they decided to make another Forge.

My Arctic is safely in the nursery and will hatch about 3pm so I'll pop back then to edit with the name. Edit: *snerk* It's Frostbite!

I'm using some of my cash to make treats because my Bearded breeders are only at 11.

Not much else. DC: 133,379,143; G: 344. I wound up using two last night because I wanted to go to sleep but I didn't want to wait to start trying for the Bearded.

:D And and and -- I got the Bearded on the second try, and I'm getting a Rainbow from my Pearl-breeding pair! :D

It's funny, because I've played fine on Tuesdays before. . .ah well. Got my ass handed to me today, sadly enough. Meh. And wow, cool glowy horse is cool and glowy. There's actually a special Hearthstone steed for those who play both games -- I don't, I'm just interested in the cards, but bit of trivia there for you. :p And I'm sure Shada will look excellent in said costume.

Alice also won a Silver, I've got Bunny in Cold.

*snork* Frostbite is an awesome name. XD Mine's Cliff, which is weird but kind of cute.

I'm also moving into larger treat production, if only because I need it with needing to level up more and more dragons. Doing a couple of Dark/Metal hybrids since I don't have any of those.

And Ooooh, they're just determined to release ALL the new dragons this year, aren't they? *checks out the post via the wiki* Huh -- curiouser and curiouser. The Kite dragon? It looks something like one in silhouette.
