It's Been A Monday
Jun. 23rd, 2014 06:45 pm-->Wake up this morning to surprisingly-chilly temperatures (57 when I caught the bus)
-->Get caught in the WORST TRAFFIC JAM on 95 that I have seen in ages -- the highway was practically a parking lot. What made this worse was
A) it looked to be all over one car that had some problems
B) I heard the dispatcher TELL the driver to "take an alternate route" over the radio -- AND SHE DROVE INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN THING ANYWAY!! I swear, this ALWAYS happens with 65 in the morning. ARE THEY TOO FUCKING STUPID TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO AVOID THIS SHIT?!
Anyway, yeah, I was actually genuinely frightened I might miss the last bus that could get me to school on time (fortunately, this was not the case)
-->Of course, all of this led to an abbreviated queue, instead of the nice solid one I like to have during school days
-->Aaand it appears my mouse is on its way out -- I had to fight with it during lunch and during the afternoon to get it to actually work. I think something in the cord may be kinked -- either that or it's just starting to die. It's a year and a half old, by my count. I've got it working now, but this is just annoying.
-->And no, I still don't have the Pearl or the Kite. If I could shake my Seaweed and Snow dragons, I would.
I suppose I should list some of the nicer things that have happened too, just to keep me from going into full "strangle everyone" mode:
-->Leveling up my Warlock against the Innkeeper in Hearthstone is going well -- I think I'm ready to take Gul'dan out into the field against real players. We'll see how I do. (I deliberately avoided real matches to keep myself from getting angrier.)
-->I did hatch my Blue Moon in DragonVale earlier -- came with the name Galileo, but I'd already decided she had to be named Luna since, well, she's a unicorn dragon associated with the moon. . . I have a second Moon coming out soon, so I'll probably name that one Galileo.
-->Had a decent writing day -- ended up doing a section that I didn't originally think I should show but decided would work better as "on-screen." Writing Bonejangles as looking like his fleshy self and Lizzie's reaction to same is fun. :P
-->Despite my computer problems, actually managed to keep up reasonably on replies, go me.
-->I believe I'm the first one to finish all the Access assignments for the first chapter in my Office Skills class. :D Go me again.
All right, I have some blushrooms to harvest/grow, then I need to take my shower and dive back into replies. Later, everyone!

Date: 2014-06-24 12:33 pm (UTC)Anyways, like I edited last night, Blue Moon get and now I owe Milton an apology for thinking his level 13 wouldn't get me anything. ^^,
The Moonstruck hatched and came with the name Wocky and I decided to keep it this time since I already have a Jabber. The Seasonal will hatch tonight but I'll probably be asleep so I'll have it tomorrow morning; the Blue Moon will hit the Nursery then, too.
I'm trying for the Summer for lack of a better idea currently, but no luck yet. Once the Blue Moon's out I may try for a Crypt as it's the last Cold dragon I need.
That's it for now. I'll be back later with the Colosseum update. Edit: Ma-Ti won a Gold, threw Gogo into Earth.

LOL -- now we both have a Jabber and Wocky. XD I should see if I can get a Seasonal or Summer myself now that I've knocked down most of the dragons I was trying for. Either that or do the last of my dark hybrids and arrange them attractively. I should also probably give the Jade a try -- though I don't want to leave Avon's habitat making nothing while he breeds. Guess it's time for more Current tries!
