So At Last It Has Hit

Got struck with my period pretty much the instant I woke up this morning -- fortunately it's been manageable thanks to some pain meds, but it pretty much wiped me out energy-wise most of the day. The majority of my time has been spent playing games on my iPad (got wrecked multiple times on Hearthstone, though I had some pretty close ones; also I'm really liking Twister Tap to my surprise), watching Helloween finish off the main storyline of Dark Souls II, and then looking up Dark Souls II stuff on TV Tropes. My muse is just not cooperating, so I've had to take the day off doing RP stuff (fortunately, it seems I haven't missed a whole heck of a lot, so yay there -- just gotta find the replies I DO owe and get them drafted).

HOWEVER! I have not totally failed today:

-->I got a in a walk, where I went ahead and cashed my check. I intend to do a little research on mice (thinking of trying a wireless one) and hopefully find one for fairly cheap that isn't too far away.
-->I did get some writing done! First draft of Gig's birthday fic (DragonVale!Valice themed, as requested) and finishing off some edits on Chapter 4 of "Forgetting You."
-->Speaking of DragonVale, I have successfully bred Current and Firework dragons! :D My Firework's all hatched already thanks to some speedup by Kairos -- Current should hatch tomorrow morning. I believe that Tidepool and Magneto are now making me a Platinum dragon -- one that I already have, BUT which also sells for a heck of a lot, so I'm satisfied enough with that. I tend to throw them together more in the future in hopes for a Cyclops or Ouroboros. Stats for Gigs: Sven won a Silver in Cold, I've got Gana in Lightning. DC: 361,131,836; G: 346.

So yeah, even with first-day-period-blahs, I am not a complete wreck at life. Still, tomorrow I hope is a bit more productive. We'll see if I can at least get the wedding for DG-Victor and Alice rolling again. That's one of the bigs for me. As it is, I'm going to go finish off the character pages for Dark Souls II, then see about those reply drafts. Later!

Brisk won a Silver, threw Tesla into Lightning and he won a Gold, now Luster is in Water.

So I bred stuff yesterday while I was at the barn. I have:

Acid: Tamesis (I considered renaming to Ripley but I liked it enough to keep)

Current: Gurgle (too cute not to keep)

Flash: Came with the name Belyst but as I said I was going to I named him Gordon

I also have a Gamma in the Nursery and a Promethium incubating. I went back to trying for a Mirage but no luck yet there.

And that's all. The Gamma will hatch tomorrow. DC: 330,665,282; G: 560.

Edit: The Promethium came with the name Virgo.

I have a Current too -- his name is Nemo. XD So we both got cuties! :D I also have my Firework Kaboom, but that's it for me. No luck with Sulfur, and my second Platinum's still being made. Long breed and incubation time, but it's got a great selling price, so I'm not complaining. Congrats on all your new dragons!
