Jobs All Over The Place

crossover_chickGot sent some very handy links by the PACE people, one of which led me to a website with no less than three jobs I felt qualified applying for. :) Add to that some other opportunities (including one that is very near my house), and I'm feeling good about the job-hunting thing this morning. I just hope it continues. I'd really like to just get something and get into another routine.
DragonVale's been quiet today -- it's last call for Ruby, and my breeders are persisting in giving me fails (short ones, at least, as opposed to the Electrum they pulled yesterday and which I sped up with gems). I did hatch my Summer, though -- he's named Bud. Considering he lives with dragons named Imbolc, Clonus, and Daenerys, I find this kind of hilarious. Maybe I'll keep it and name my Autumn Leaf or something similar. XD Also took a gander at putting my Celestial habitat on the Opposites Island -- it would destroy my current diamond paths set up, so I'll wait for now.
Hearthstone -- I'm past the Second Arachnid Quarter Boss! :D And it only took me two tries! Remember how last night I said that I looked her up and discovered that a "cheap quick minions" deck would take her out? Well, this afternoon I realized that I actually already HAD one of those decks -- my Priest's SNAAAARKS! deck! So I threw Andy up against the Boss, Faerlina. I lost the first time and had to make a quick tweak -- Fae's hero power is to hit you and your minions with random missiles equal to the number of cards in your hand, so I had to keep the "draw a card" stuff low. Fortunately, a quick substitution and being smart about buffing my minions and stuff allowed me to defeat her -- which was followed by a disconnect, but at least I was informed straight out my battle had been recorded, so I still got the cards you get for beating her. Had to find a video of her getting beaten on YouTube (by another priest in HEROIC mode, where's she's got extra health) to hear the closing quote from the Lich who serves as the expansion's big bad, though. Meh.
Not much else to say -- Used my queue to keep up on replies for most of the afternoon, and will be doing more active RPing tonight. Finished editing Chapter 3 of "In The Land of the Dead," so Chapter 2 going up on Friday is still a go. :) Though that kind of depends on FF.net being up by then, it's been down all day. . . Fingers crossed, people! As for now, dinner's been delayed, so I'm going to catch up on Cake Wrecks and see about taking my shower.

I'm getting an Electrum and in trying for a Dream I'm getting another Rainbow. Since you mentioned there's an achievement for having two, I decided to see if that's true for the Android version as well and am building a small Rainbow Habitat to hold it when it hatches.
I only have enough obstacles for one more day so I'm gonna have to redo my math again. And, well, crap. If I don't have the obstacles to clear, I'll be short 4 to get the Twilight Tower if this weekend's a Double and I can max out the rest of the days. Although...30 is only 99 cents. Hm...I'll have to think about that. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll make it a Triple Weekend. *sarcastic laughter*
That's about it. I forgot about the Colosseum yesterday so it won't end until like 6:30 at night.

Came with the name Bolt, but I renamed it Merida thanks to wisps being an important plot element there. :P My Ruby breeders are still being arses, so unless I manage to sneak in one last try under the wire, I doubt I'm getting it. *sigh* Have to wait for the next Bring Em Back, I suppose. Meeeh. And we'll see about your Rainbow -- the achievement's for Game Center, so I dunno. . . Still, it's a nice little pop-up, and they earn well.
Oh crap -- that's exactly why I stopped clearing with ten left so I'd have some for a potential double weekend. :( I hope you can find a way to squeak out those remaining fireflies! *fingers crossed*
