Happy Hi-BORROWING A Train Day!

crossover_chickAlso Marty finally getting over being called a chicken, punching out Buford Tannen's lights (because that's a thing that must be done), and Clara realizing that Doc wasn't lying about being from the future and nearly getting herself killed trying to catch up with him. So yeah, very busy day!
And it's also Lucy's birthday! Thread over in the Inkwell -- nothing too fancy, but I'll be darned if I forget birthday celebrations. I also have another page of drabbles for everyone from the old 100 Drabbles of Summer table from 2011: #11-20. I do hope you find those enjoyable, because the pages are kind of a bitch to make. One of these days I have to shoot Weebly a comment about making the "embed HMTL" feature easier to use.
"Catching up" has been the theme of this Sunday -- catching up with tumblr, the Not Always websites, twitter, Helloween LPs, all that good stuff. It's made for a mildly hectic day, I have to say. Hopefully I can get things back on track for tomorrow. . . I do, however, have a few nice updates on the games front:
-->DragonVale: Not too much to report, but I should be ready to summon in the Tenth Island tomorrow, and after many Pollen dragons, I'm FINALLY getting an Orchid! Hooray. That'll clear out all the dragons currently classified as "Elemental." :)
-->Hearthstone: Rexxar continues to be awesome, winning a match against an Anduin. Guy got some good early hits on me, but then I got some good taunters out and used a minion that gives beasts charge to my advantage, and -- yeah. Went a round with Valeera too, but she lost to a Rexxar -- my chosen deck for her just doesn't work well against him. I currently have just enough gold to unlock another wing of Naxxramus, but I'd like to have a little extra before I go for another round on that.
-->Spellfall: Finished off the Lost City of Kytish today, and am making my way through the Temple of Earth. I continue to have good luck with getting some pretty insane combos -- and thanks to nothing getting recaptured, I'm making tons of money off the cleared areas. So yeah, Eric is in a very good spot regarding that. Also getting some interesting backstory -- apparently the current area is the home of Eric's sprite friend (you rescue her as part of going through the second area, and she hangs around in the flavor text from then on). Thanks to sprites perceiving time differently from men, a thriving city she left only a few hours ago is now a jungle-choked crumbling ruin. Poor thing. *pats her*
-->Sims 4 CAS Demo: Spent a half-hour in that making the young version of Doc from Telltale Games today -- and I actually think he turned out pretty well! :) Hair's wrong, of course, but I did the best I could with what was available. We need vests for guys, however -- I wasn't able to make Emmett's iconic outfit thanks to a lack of them. Still, like I said, I'm happy with what I've got so far, and he and Marty will probably eventually make it to the gallery.
All right, I REALLY need to catch up with tumblr before I'm completely swamped here, so later!

The Sapphire and Sunstruck will hatch tonight. I'm trying for the Cyclops and one of the other Olympus dragons I need again. No luck thus far...my Cyclops breeders decided to give me a Platinum. *sigh*
I have enough to get and clear the Tenth Island once I'm there. Since I'm still not even at the halfway point of 44 I think I'll have a good stockpile of cash saved by the time I'm ready to summon it. Unless BFS does something that makes me need to spend it...if they do do a Leather Dragon for the anniversary I wonder what the combo would be...?

Awww, how cute. :) Bet Antoinette will be happy about that. My Orchid came along this morning -- I named it Vanilla, since that's surprisingly part of the orchid family. Still attempting the Amber, and trying for the Bronze now to round out Treasure dragons.
I'm going to start summoning the Tenth Island either before I go to bed or when I get up tomorrow morning -- I wanted to make sure I had a decent buffer before I did so. Dunno what BFS would do that would need all the money you've got. . .all I'm hoping for is a neat new statue. And darned if I know -- we'll find out, I guess!
