Finally Feeling Back On Track

crossover_chickWhich is a bit weird, because my red curse started today and by all accounts I should be totally out of the game thanks to period-related exhaustion. I guess desperation to be back in the game trumps that! Though, granted, 'back in the game' is hereby defined as catching up on stuff, a lot of which involves sitting on my ass and reading funny stories/watching videos. Sooo yeah. :P
I did write today, though! Started editing on another chapter of "In the Land of the Dead." I also caught up on my RP replies, so that's another plus. And I'm just feeling better in general -- tired and a touch achy because of the curse, but much less stressed thanks to having a day off. Hopefully I can keep it up through Sunday -- I'm skipping my theme days on my personal this week so I can finish my catching up and then work on queueing up some stuff for the rest of the week. Fingers crossed that next Friday I'll be able to give you a proper fanfic update!
As for the games:
-->DragonVale: More Leathery fails, 3 Golds in the Colosseum (Menolly in Water, Gardina in Plant, Bouncy in Fire; Ent's currently in Earth), and not much else.
-->Hearthstone: One win with Thrall, my shaman, two losses with Anduin the Priest. I'm just gonna keep plugging away -- if I can fill one more Quest, I'll have 800 Gold and I'll feel prepared to purchase the next Naxxramus wing.
-->Spellfall: I'm at Level 21, working my way through the Temple of Spark! I believe our big bad is putting in his first appearance -- I've unlocked the boss fight, and it's against a guy named Lord Treyfik. (I should have named Eric something more ridiculous, shouldn't I? Yet I kind of like the contrast.) Still working on killing all the weaker enemies first, though. And only three days away from my next sword, yay. Getting the Fire one so I'll be well-prepared for the upcoming Cold area. :)
Okay, quick round of Spellfall, then I'm back to doing RP stuff. Night all! :)
Oh, wait, one other thing -- I had housesitting tonight, and was told to expect that it might be a while before I got home.
I ended up staying there for LESS time than I was there last night, which was supposed to be a 2-hour shift. *shakehead* Irony at its finest?

Date: 2014-09-21 06:52 pm (UTC)Finally got the Cyclops and there's an Olympus on the way. Hopefully it won't be a Bronze. They'll both hit the Nursery tomorrow afternoon.
Papyrus won a Silver, put Helen into Fire and she won a Silver and now Fang is in Earth. With all that was going on yesterday he won't be done until about 6. And of course I forgot again. won a Gold and Jimmy is in Metal.
I still haven't started decorating the Tenth Island. I've been busy doing stupid adult stuff like dishes and laundry and cleaning the kitchen. :/

Date: 2014-09-22 01:40 am (UTC)Congrats on the Cyclops! I'm still trying and failing with the Leathery. Probably gonna have to start breaking out the gems to speed up fails and encourage things.
I forgot my Colosseum until 10:30 last night, so it's likely I'm just gonna let it roll over to tomorrow morning and then report on things from there. Can't really stay up for DragonVale when I have to get up at six for my job.
Neither have I, apart from sticking the Third Anniversary statue on it. I've been busy with both work and Spellfall, honestly. I gotta find a moment or two to start making my park look pretty again.
