crossover_chickAnd yes, I managed to get both his visit to the Nexus and his Inkwell party up! :D Good thing, too, because we ended up having an extra late-supper and then a massive thunderstorm (seriously, BRIGHT lightning), so I had to skip the tumblr RP today. But I got his stuff up, and that's the main thing. :)
You may notice something interesting in the Inkwell thread -- Museical Marty referring to Doc as his uncle. Well, this is an interesting twist to the "Doc adopts Victor" plot point that came about thanks to me thinking about on the bus a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering what people would make of Victor wanting to become a Brown, and figured somebody might ask "well, what about Marty? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to be adopted? You more or less did that in an old fanfic after all." The thing was, this Marty is the kind who would have more of an attachment to his McFly name. While he does love Doc like family, he doesn't want to give up being a McFly. And just when I was thinking of the best way to word that for Doc should it come up --
I suddenly remembered hyphenated names exist.
Add in that they're aware of their canonical counterparts, and thus the fake relationship that Doc and Marty used in Part I, and -- well, it seemed logical as hell to make Doc now Marty's uncle, and Marty a McFly-Brown. :) So yeah, now basically everyone in the Pocket Nexus is family! One of the few good things to come out of my procrastination.
Not much else to report at the moment -- I've got a mild cold (mostly just a stuffy nose), and DragonVale is being stingy with the candy. I should still make both Nosferatu dragons, though. And possibly a Spooky theme, though I'm not holding out for it. It would be nice to have, but I can live without. My plan for the rest of the evening is to watch a little more BTTF Doc-themed goodness, read a fanfic, do a little more queueing for my personal tumblr, and try to get to sleep at a decent hour for once. So with that, later!

I watched the first two episodes (because I'd DVRed them but hadn't watched them) and Mom's like "Where's the next one?" and I had to explain to her that it came on on Sundays and I only had the first two. So we're looking forward to the finale this Sunday, heh.
