Happy Setting-Up-The-Pieces Day! Because, seriously, that's more or less what it is -- you meet the main character, you see what his life is like, you get a tantalizing hint of his best friend, and you get the necessary backstory that makes the plot run. Yay for all of that! BTTF has some excellent plot set-up and ways of getting exposition out of the way without it feeling clunky. Solid (re)writing there, Bobs.

I WAS going to watch Part II today, but the day kind of started off on a bad note with the router not working properly (sometimes my devices can't catch the wifi signal) and it taking a hour to get my net back because Dad forgot and I didn't want to bother him right away. Of course that completely threw me off my day, and add in cleaning, wanting to watch some other videos (finally saw the end of Drakengard 3, SHIT BE WEIRD AND FEELSY), and taking a walk (nice day outside; gotta enjoy 'em while I can), and -- there simply wasn't time. Hell, I'd wanted to get on the RP scene faster too, but that didn't happen either. Meeeh. One of these days, I'll figure out just how to do what I want without getting distracted or running into a problem.

So yeah -- I guess I'm watching the movie tomorrow, and possibly on the small screen in my parents' room because it's Sunday and Dad's watching the Pats game. Though that doesn't start until 1, so if I get up early enough, start it around 10. . .we'll see.

Fortunately I HAVE managed to catch up with a lot of stuff, so that makes me feel a bit better about things. Plus I managed to max out my candy today in DragonVale, which is always a nice feeling. :) Also, I should be getting a Zombie dragon! And I'm thinking I'm going to name it Shaun, for reasons. XD (Though I haven't actually seen Shaun of the Dead -- it seems just a touch gory for me. Still, my parents certainly liked it, and I've liked Edgar Wright's other films, soooo. . .)

Spellfall is determined to ruin me, by the by -- I'm struggling to retake recaptured areas because they always have such hard shit in them. Would you believe I ran into a THREE-MONSTER fight?! Fortunately they were all elemental, so I could just grab my sword and go to town, but still! And the corrupters are getting waaaaaaaaay too much health. Fortunately I have great weaponry. . .and if I could just get the cash to open that last slot on my current armor. . .

Anyway. Currently doing the housesitting thing, and I'm trying to catch up on my tumblr RP, so I'd best get to that. G'night all!
