Happy Boxing Day!

crossover_chickSpent a good portion of the day on the road and out and about -- Mom and I went to visit one of my aunts to catch up on things and exchange Christmas presents -- and in my case, an early birthday present. For Christmas, I got a $50 iTunes gift card (which I can use via my iPad), and for my birthday, BOTH of the Discworld books I was missing -- Snuff and Raising Steam. And the latter, being the newest, is in hardcover! So that's kind of cool. :D I also have a card, but she asked me to wait to open that until tomorrow, so yeah, got that in reserve. :P
Most of the day that I didn't spend wandering the world was spent writing -- tumblr's been rather glitchy on me lately, starting from last night, and it was irritating the hell out of me -- so I can also provide you with that "In The Land of the Dead" update I promised! read it on FF.net or on AO3. I do hope it's enjoyable -- Bumby may not get his this chapter, but Jack Splatter does get a nasty surprise. . .
And that's about it for updates. Like I said, tumblr's been glitchy -- or, rather, freezy. As in, if I try to go back or forward at certain times, or look at my tracked tags, or answer a message, the entire thing just freezes, and I have to close the tab. Doesn't affect any of my other FireFox tabs, though. I'm not entirely sure what's causing it -- I tried looking at it in IE, and while at first everything seemed to be going smoothly, it froze while I tried to answer a message, then again trying to refresh my dashboard. Seems related to things updating on my dash and inbox, but. . . *shrug* It's not being so bad today, so I'm hoping it's glitchiness on their end that's getting ironed out. Only other possibility that comes to mind is that is has something to do with our provider, since I have had to click twice on some links to get them to load. *shrug again*
At any rate, it's not being so evil right now, and I have some replies to get to, so later! Tomorrow I turn 28 -- dear lord, where has the time gone. . .
