Semi-Distracted Monday

-->I spent a ton of time reading the latest "El Goonish Shive" commentaries
-->My lunch entertainment was watching a 2-hour speedrun of Alice: Madness Returns
-->There was some general dithering about on the web instead of catching up on stuff I should catch up on
On the other hand:
-->The speedrun helped me do one of the shorter chapters in "Triskaidekaphobia" -- the one with Jack Splatter (yay inspiration)
-->I got a bunch more songs I've been meaning to get off iTunes
-->I caught up on a bunch of RP replies and have potential plot for my Nexusians in the future on DW
-->I completed Water Logged in AMA with a minimum of dying to Snarks (wretched fish)
So yeah, while not my most productive day, I got a good amount done, so hooray for me.
Weather has been shitty all day -- cold and snowy and freezing-rainy and all that good stuff. Rather glad they closed up work. Tomorrow is a delayed opening at 10:30, which is proving to be awkward what with me and my bus schedules. I'm taking the 9:04 bus in and hoping for the best -- if I have to call and say I'll be late, then that's what's gotta happen, sadly. The only other option gets me there way too early. At least I can wake up at 7 instead of 6. . .
Other thing of note is discovering that my Sims 4 Game Time trial ran out while I wasn't looking (damn period making me too lazy to play yesterday!), but apparently I can get the game proper for 33% off if I buy it in the next couple of days. Which would put this $60 at closer to $40, and that is much more reasonable in my eyes for the base game. . .and I did enjoy it, I just -- I dunno, I worry that I'd get it and not use it enough. Because I have these other games that I want to play and rather limited time to do so and meeeeh. Don't mind me, I have crises over silly things.
Anyway! Should wrap up some stuff so I can hit the sheets at a reasonable hour and all that. G'night all, sleep tight!
