Welp, I Just Did It

crossover_chickDecided the deal was worth it since I did want the game -- and decided it was also worth it to grab the first Game Pack, Outdoor Retreat, as they offered it to me right before checkout. So now I'm the proud owner of both The Sims 4 and its first EP! Remind me to block out some time for it around playing American McGee's Alice this weekend.
This morning was a bit of a clusterfuck -- first Mom's car wouldn't start, making it look like I would have to brave the snowy sidewalks to get to the bus stop (fortunately Dad got it running in time); then we hit traffic early on that made it impossible for me to get in on time (I called ahead to warn, being a good employee, and ended up being only 15 minutes late, so whew); then there was hiking through the snow to get to the job (toes SO COLD); then my computer at work was a slug thanks to shit updating in the background (hate that stupid program). Yeah, not the most fun. On the plus side, though, I caught up with some stuff, and I got a page of "Triskaidekaphobia" written, so hooray for me on that front, I guess. And I've got queues up all over tumblr, so yay productivity.
Not too much else to say, really. Back to regular schedule tomorrow, so I'd best get myself to bed at a reasonable time. These past couple of weeks have been so weird. . . Ah well, new game to play Saturday and Sunday (or just one of those, depending on how I decide to run things). Have to get some of my old Sims 4 CAS Demo Sims off Chester so I can use them in the game proper too. . . Enjoy your night, everyone!
