Back To Normal Tomorrow -- Possibly
Feb. 16th, 2015 10:23 pmYou see, after today's bitter cold, there's apparently supposed to be snow! >.< And I don't know how much or how bad, but anything piled on the stuff we've already got is really irritating news if nothing else. So we'll see if it's just an extra-coat-of-white nuisance or if I'll be home early tomorrow. At least the usual Sunday bad weather coming up next weekend has been downgraded from snow to rain. . .which I just realized could spell some nasty flooding depending on the situation. . . February really needed to be canceled this year.
Anyway, had a wonderfully-productive President's Day writing-wise -- two pages finishing up the latest chapter of "Remembering You!" Along with a bit of sweetness with Victor and Alice which is the first bit of Victor's perspective in the story. Much like "Forgetting You" went all-Alice perspective after Bumby captured Victor, this one's going to be almost all-Alice until Victor starts making serious inroads to getting his memory back. We'll see how things evolve as I write, of course, but that's the general idea. Felt good to finish off another chunk, I must say. :) Hooray for creativity! I also fit in some exercise (been trying to do more of that, and I had the fidgets something awful this afternoon), so that's hooray-worthy too. :)
Sadly, though, I wasn't able to get to playing Sims 4 like I wanted. Catching up on various things and going on the elliptical meant that my best chance for playing was before supper -- and I spent THAT firing up Chester so I could retrieve my old CAS4 Demo Sims and upload them to the Gallery. Quickly got a lesson in why I wanted an upgrade in the first place -- Chester's sloooow. And I had a brief WTF moment when I got an error message about the possibility of my Windows not being genuine -- think that was related to not having installed most of the current updates due to the computer not being on, because it didn't come back after I installed the stuff and restarted. Successfully uploaded families, though, and then got on Lenny and retrieved them. So I now have Victor, Alice, Emmett, Marty, and Eric all ready to go should I want them. :) And if you play Sims 4 and you want them too, well -- just search my ID! AliceNVictor -- they'll show up.
All right, gotta prepare for earlier bedtime. Got a few replies left to handle, some roses to coax out of Backflip (they did a full three-day Double Rose weekend, which at least makes it easier to get that damn Thorn dragon they raised the price on), and some warming of the sheets to do (didn't get out of the teens today, I believe!). Oh, I should mention that I'm finally getting the Seed, the new seasonal dragon! :) And my Bronze Snowy hatched -- his name is Ares. Reminds me I've got to clean up the Olympus/Treasure/Sun island. . . Another night. Later!
