Even When It's Not Snowy, It's Snowy

crossover_chickAs in, strong winds blowing the lighter snow off the roofs and trees and creating mini flurry-storms everywhere. (And in point of fact, we did have a brief flurry today.) Not fun to walk through, let me tell you -- especially when the temperature's dropping and the wind chill is just making everything worse. Siberian air spells bad times, my friends! Tomorrow's supposed to be the worst of it -- I may layer up with an extra-warm hoodie before work. Uuuugh, so sick of this February. . .
I have completed tumblr queues and another little bit on "Remembering You," so there's that to be proud of. I'll get to Dreamwidth replies either tomorrow or Saturday. I also have enough roses in DragonVale to snag Thorn Numero Dos (and Gigs, I also named my first one Bramble). Now the question becomes, is this weekend a double? Because without the extra boost, there's no way in hell I'm getting the Omnitat. With it, maybe. . .but we'll see.
Right now, final bit of wrap-up for the evening, then bed. Night all! Stay warm!

Date: 2015-02-20 07:31 pm (UTC)Sadly it seems we're not getting another Double (unless they start it over the weekend itself, which I doubt), so I'm in the "fuck it" mindset and am not even gonna try to grind roses out of the treats and habitats.
In happier news, I'm about 30-ish hours away from having every dragon in the game!! Spitz and Avon (my Lotus) have FINALLY decided to grace me with a Seed (so 14 and a half hours to incubate and 18 hours to hatch). Okay I'll admit I spent some gems to get it to appear but, hey. :)
...and now I feel bad because you started playing before I did and I got them all first. :/
Anyway...

Now I guess I could make pedestals. Or just profit breed. At least until Easter when BFS will probably do something equally as annoying, haha.

I am also currently in said "fuck it" mood, as I did the math and there's no way I can get the habitat. *sigh* They're really getting shitty about how events work, honestly. That sneaky changing of how much the second Thorn dragon cost was real bullcrap.
Congratulations! :D I got the -- actually, it's the fourth Snowflake. XD And it ACTUALLY CAME with the name Hans, so -- yay? XD And don't feel guilty -- it's part luck of the draw, part you have more time to play. Just post a picture of the dragonarium once you max -- I hear it breathes fire!
DC: 2,057,440,747; G: 317 (spent some gems to determine the color of a pending Olympus -- another Silver, hmph) I've been making pedestals as they pop up, and will probably continue to do so as I work on my missing dragons. Also planning on finally making more islands look halfway decent, starting with Olympus/Treasure.
