So I Actually Have Work Tomorrow

crossover_chickThis is the first time ALL FEBRUARY that I'll be working on Monday (the first two were canceled due to snow; the third was President's Day and that's one of our holidays). And it should be the first time in a MONTH that I'll be working a full week, since the last week of January was the blizzard. This week is going to feel so long by comparison. . .on the other hand, it'll produce a full paycheck, and I'll happily take a lack of weather disasters over any further snow/freezing rain/sleet craziness. Hell, THE SUN CAME OUT TODAY, can you believe it? Mid-afternoon, so it didn't last long, but still! Hoorah.
Had a very nice Sunday -- caught up on the remaining videos I'd missed, along with some others I watched just for fun (new MikeJ Informercialism where he proves he doesn't know much about cooking; LGR Sims 15th Anniversary Retrospective/Review, and some episodes of a Sims 1 playthrough TheSimSupply is doing). Got some replies done and a bunch of stuff queued up on tumblr. Got some writing done -- not on "Remembering You," but a quick birthday fic for a tumblr RP buddy. Still counts!
Main thing of interest, though, was heading into Sims 4 and messing around with the house-building system again. I made a rather expensive two-story home with lots of styled rooms (rooms that come pre-furnished that you can just plop down on the lot), a pool, and an upstairs patio-area thingy. It's honestly rather fun to play around with the various tools and suchlike -- I've never really been one for the architectural aspect of the game, but this makes my boxy houses feel a little less so. I'll have to go back in and get you guys pictures of my two builds. They're nothing spectacular by any means, but hey -- at least I can make something interesting now. :)
Anyway, need to wrap things up and head to bed. Have to attempt to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for tomorrow, after all. Last week of February go!
