crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (RP: have I squeed over Butterfly Boy yet)

We did the real Father's Day stuff last night, so today was basically all hanging about and catching up on stuff. Played some more A:MR -- I'm in the squishy place of awful, aka the last part of Queensland. I find it kind of amusing that my favorite and least favorite places in the game -- Cardbridge and Dark of Heartness, respectively -- both come in the same chapter and essentially bookend it. At least DoH is a short trip through meaty section of the castle. . .of course, it's immediately followed by Rutledge and the Dollhouse, sooo. . . .

I also did some more on Chapter 14 of "Forgetting You" -- added in a whole new encounter for Victor in Radcliffe's old house! Squatter with a bottle. It's not much, but it's good for showing off how life experiences have warped Forgotten Vows's temper. He's going to end up rather more violent than most Victors, and I might as well grab all the foreshadowing I can. Plus it just makes things more interesting, you know? I'm trying to get out of the habit of vast swathes of description only.

Not much happening on the RP front -- okay, I shouldn't say that. DW is quiet, but both Forgotten Vows and Butterfly Boy had plenty to answer on their tumblrs. What really happened is neither had a very cluttered dashboard. This is typical of Butterfly Boy (especially on weekends), but a rare occurrence for Forgotten -- but one of the people who posts a lot is on vacation for now, and the other is just being quiet (RL stuff I assume), so I guess that accounts for it. At least it makes catching up easy. And means I had time to catch up on a new Josh Way riff and some LGR Sims 4 reviews (they've come out with two Stuff packs within a month of each other!). So that's nice. :)

Not much else to say -- I really should take advantage of the fact it's quiet to grab a few extra zzzzs. Though I might read this one thing on Bloodborne first, because Bloodborne. I'll also try to get up my critique of To Your Scattered Bodies Go tomorrow -- I'm sure I'll have some time tomorrow to draft it, at least in part. For now, though, good night!
