Oopsies and Good News

crossover_chickDay at the beach! Waves were absolutely terrific, and it actually felt like August as opposed to October. RI summers are the ultimate in suckiness.
-D: Hear hear.-
I built a new beach lot, with a swimsuit shop, barbeques, and all the snack stands. I planned for VampDoc and Madison to head there, Madison to get a new bathing suit, them to have a burger dinner with ice cream, maybe swim in the pool for a bit. Unfortunately, I made one major blunder. After buying Maddy her bathing suit, Doc needed a little bathroom time. He headed to a stall, then shook his head and thought of a door. Puzzled, I zoomed in --
I made two ladies rooms. *hits head* Whoops. So their date was limited to Madison getting her suit, a game of WhackaWill, and some ice cream. Luckily I thought to charge up some more Get Happy beforehand, so Madison had a good time.
I'd also used the blood to refresh VampDoc, but I accidentally deleted the table instead of the blood. I figured, no big deal. I'll buy them a new one, and they'll be fine. Marty brings in a steady salary, after all.
Then I got a very nice surprise. Marty had been promoted to police psychic, and he came home tonight with a notice. Apparently he'd provided a useful profile on a serial killer (hopefully not Madison!), and in reward he'd received two logic points and 3000 simoleons! Hooray! Not only did he pay for VampDoc's date and the table, he can now do perfect Spook Shows with eight Logic!

I'll say. Now he can grab another promotion while Jennifer makes The Price of Fame and VampDoc A Friend Indeed.
