Today In BTTF III (Day 6). . .

crossover_chickMarty uses his gun for a pillow! Buford's hungry! Clara's got a ticket to riiii-iide! Doc really can't hold his liquor! Wake-up juice! Dunking your head in the horse trough if you want some water (did anyone else notice that was something of a brick joke?) Buford's watch is roughly five minutes fast! The near-death of Clint Eastwood! Marty finally gets over his chicken thing! Back doors are in the back! Doc misses Tylenol! Clara decides she doesn't need a ticket to ride and heads back to Hill Valley! Marty takes inspiration from his namesake and the movie in Part II! Buford Tannen's head is so hard it can break solid stone! He also hates manure! Seamus will take care of that baby! It's not a hold-up, it's a science experiment! Clara discovers the truth and takes off in pursuit! Color-coded smoke! Doc wondering what the hell he was thinking when he came up with this crazy-ass plan to somehow climb onto the DeLorean FROM THE FRONT OF A TRAIN GOING MORE THAN FIFTY MILES PER HOUR! (seriously, how the hell did he expect to pull that off, Clara catching up probably saved his life -- speaking of which) Clara and Doc reunite! The red log blows! The return of the hoverboard! Doc pulls off a romantic rescue yet again! Marty goes back to the future! The train is a spectacular wreck!
And carrying fireworks, apparently, if you go by the various explosions. But hey, rule of cool.
Not a particularly Backie day, despite the date, since I watched the movie yesterday -- but I did make some time to play a bit of the Game. Marty's in 1931, going by Sonny Crockett this time, and he's just reconnected with Doc at the jail. It's so cute to see them interacting -- even if you don't particularly like the Game, you gotta say, it did their friendship justice. Best bros, seriously.
Other than that, it was actually largely a Channel Awesome day -- I caught up with Linkara's reviews (last week and this week's, which are both amusingly shitty for different reasons -- one's a Green Lantern villain comic which contains a retcon he grumbles on about at length, and the other is a Youngblood comic, so you know you're in for good mocking) and NC's review of the Smurfs movie with the Black Critic (who I know nothing about). Good day of mocking bad media. XD Also did a solo editing pass on "Card Castles," fixing up some action stuff and private thoughts and the like -- managed NOT to touch any of the shared dialogue though, so yay. :) I'll probably do the same for Chapter 17 tomorrow, then work on getting them both up everywhere.
Also: Lucy's birthday today! Simple but sweet -- get to it when you're able, Gigs. *patpat*
So yeah, that's that. I even got a bunch of DW replies done! Now I just have to finish off my tumblr queues. . . So let me get on that. Night all!
