Time Travel Out The Wazoo Today
Oct. 26th, 2015 10:04 pmWe have Temporal Experiment #1 with Einstein, Temporal Experiment #2 with Marty (unplanned), Marty returning to Lone Pine 1985 from 1955, Doc taking Marty & Jennifer to 2015, and everyone returning to Hell Valley 1985 from 2015. That's 5 entrances/exits (six if you count Einstein's hop forward as one entrance/one exit) from the time period, and three alternate timelines bumping up against each other! Epic.
It's also the day Dee has chosen for her birthday, so you might as well go check that out too. I'm afraid I turned the thread where she gets her present into me bitching about Lego Dimensions not having a PC release. . .and there's more bitching on the horizon, since I recently discovered the 30th anniversary edition of the Telltale BTTF Game IS ONLY FOR CONSOLES! WHAT THE HELL. *snarl*
Well, at least the new Back In Time documentary is free and available to all. And pretty interesting so far -- the folks and I are watching it piecemeal over dinner. Some of the stuff about the making of the movie treads old familiar ground (such as the "too tame for most studios, too risque for Disney" story), but the bits about the fans and what they've done with the movie are fun. We got to meet The Flux Capacitors, a tribute band that dresses up as the characters, the creator of "Rick and Morty" (I -- do not think he should have been invited, but whatever), and the guys who helped restore the A-Car. :D Judging by the trailer, the Secret Cinema people who turned part of England into Hill Valley for a bit are featured too. Looking forward to it!
Right now, though, I have tumblr queues to set up -- I, uh, actually already answered all my DW stuff after getting on a roll setting up Dee's b-day. So that's nice, I suppose. Still gotta play catch-up with Forgotten right now, so let me get on that. Night all!
