Fairly Productive Sunday

crossover_chickI slept in later than I expected, but I actually managed to get a fair amount done:
-->Caught up on Nostalgic Critic's Spawn video, which -- wooooooow, does that movie look baaaad. But it was nice to see the Awesome-verse Devil again, even if he sometimes tries to get inspiration for his evil deeds from exactly the wrong source.
-->Started Chapter 8 of "Remembering You," which will focus on Alice getting her inheritance (or what's left of it) from Radcliffe, and Victor hitting a milestone -- being able to say "no" to a direct order. Because what with Chapter 7 being so dark, I figure we need some happy -- especially since Chapter 9 will be dark too (some of Bumby's associates return and attack in the middle of the night -- fortunately Alice is prepared with a stolen knife from the kitchen). I'm thinking I might add in at least another scene with the Van Dorts somewhere, as I currently don't have any appearances for them after their big chapter. It's kind of tough because of the short timeframe of this story. . .but eh, I'll find a way to make it work. I'm just glad this one isn't kicking my ass the way "Forgetting You" ended up doing. (Yet, anyway.)

-->Bought my bus pass for March -- darn things cost $70 now, but what can you do?
-->Played Geeker in Sims 4 -- which was a short session, as he had work today and his career is non-active. He got promoted though, which is good. And I was able to get all the pictures I need for my next few updates into the right folders. In case you're curious as to what my Sims are doing these days, I have a dedicated tag for them on my tumblr: newcrest adventures
So yeah, that was all good. I also just finished up queues for all of my tumblrs, so that's nice. Just gotta slap up some replies on DW and I'll be set! Which is good, because it's already almost 11:30, and tomorrow's a work day. . . G'night, all!
