Kinda Stressful Saturday

crossover_chickMostly because on top of the usual weekly cleaning, I had to do my taxes, and sometimes finding all the information is a pain in the behind. Especially when the wording isn't clear. But it's done now, and I'm getting a decent refund (about $1,200 altogether), so that's nice. All set on that for another year.
Not too much to say beyond that. Wrote some more on "Remembering You" (Nan Sharpe refuses to be shamed by anyone), watched Linkara with lunch -- he's doing a Blue Beetle retrospective, and let me tell you, the first part of the saga is rife with the crazy -- hit TV Tropes for a little while (genuinely little this time, weird), and played a bit of Portal. I'm up to Chamber 17, which is one hell of a tricky thing, involving all sorts of weird jumps and the like. Discovered another Rattman Den into the bowels of Aperture too, which involved rust, a radio, and -- this:

That -- is what happens when you decide to try shooting a portal at that very specific patch of wall/floor/air. I was able to make a bunch of them, all just floating there and being glowy. I have no idea what glitch this is, but -- you gotta admit, it looks cool.
At any rate, I'm still working my way through that chamber. Might be another one I need to do a bit of video walkthrough for -- seriously, it's complicated!
And that's about it, except for trying to keep up with my threads. Which I really need to get back to already -- night all!
