Four day weekend! :D I don't have any huge plans for it -- just happy to be out of that damn office for a while. Busy weeks have been busy. . .today wasn't too bad, as I spent most of it catching up on various things I haven't gotten a chance to do lately, but still. I need the break. *revels in the ability to watch all her videos when she wants and get in some extra Sims and Portal playing and maybe even get lost in TV Tropes for a bit without guilt*

Not much else to say about things -- I finished up the first draft of Chapter 9 of "Remembering You." Victor and Alice more or less officially sharing a room now. Next chapter will move things to the end game, with Alice and Victor having significant dreams/conversations. Then Chapter 11 will be all about Victor fighting for his memories, and after that -- well, time to move onto "Fixing You!" After indulging in some editing first, for both "Remembering You" and "In The Land of the Dead" -- been meaning to poke at that one for a bit. Some of the chapters could use a bit of extra polishing, I think.

But that's for the future -- for tonight, I really should make up some tumblr queues. Got an interesting AU thread going with my friend Britt. . .not feeling into doing the whole active RP thing, but I can lurk and catch up with stuff, at least. So yeah, let me see if I can turn my head in that direction. Night!

Just a heads up that they've hidden more than just the big gold egg this time around (damn elusive little buggers...), though by the time you read this you'll probably already know. Still, just in case. *shrug*

Yeah, I found out while going on the hunt for the big one -- was surprised for a moment, then remembered "Oh yeah, Easter Weekend." Surprised they didn't start a double to coincide with that, but eh. I assume that'll show up this Friday.

As of 3:24 it hasn't, so either it'll be late or maybe they'll start the Double tomorrow. Damn them.

I noticed that! WTF? I guess they're either now waiting until the LAST weekend (which makes little sense), or it's going to be like the bullshit they pulled during Gardenia and the Double is only on Easter itself. Mrgh.

I forgot about that...my count is gonna be all off now. :/ If I can get a chance I'll try to figure it out.

And read the chapter. My only response right now is poor Victor but :) to slight progress.

Also when you do start edits on In the Land of the Dead I humbly request a Scraps cameo when they go to Burtonsville. ^^

*patpat* Just have to wait and see, sadly. . .though at least the Rotunda of Rewards occasionally gives out big lots of eggs. So that helps some.

Yeah, poor Victor. . .fortunately he does get better as the fic goes on. And of course Alice is always by his side to help however she can.

. . .Question of the day: Why didn't I think of that myself the first time?! *makes a note of this* He'd be easy enough to add into the bar scene. Should maybe throw in Black Widow and Maggot too, they get neglected in fics.

To be quite honest I'm most looking forward to the next fic when they go into Victor's head to fix things (or however it is he's going to get helped).

Well I did ask if he was gonna get a cameo way~ back in December '04 (yes, I searched...I'm weird) and you said it didn't occur to you until I said something, so now I'm saying something prior to the edits. :)

Me too, honestly -- "Remembering You" is fun, and lets me wrap up a few plot threads from "Forgetting You," but I'm quite happily anticipating "Fixing You" with it's "let's go to the Land of the Dead and to both Alice and Victor's Wonderlands" plot :D I think that's why I had trouble with this one before redoing "Forgetting You" -- I kept wanting to skip ahead.

Oh cripes, it still weirds me out that -- 04? I think you mean 14 because the game didn't come out until 2011. O.o But still, I came up with the Forgotten Vows Verse not long after playing it, so this entire verse is five years old. Wild. *shakes head*
