crossover_chickWeekend is here, and with it, more or less the "official" start to my vacation! Which didn't get off to an auspicious beginning when my bus out of Providence was late. But I still got out earlier than usual, and Mom and I managed to pick up some things that should make running around Hershey Park and getting wet more enjoyable (specifically, a sports bra that can double as a sort of bathing suit top, and a pair of shorts that should dry faster than the cotton stuff).
Took a break from "In The Land of the Dead" today -- been pushing myself kinda hard on that one, so I figured I could use a night to just do a random story scene. And then, inspired by the universe I chose (Londerland Bloodlines), I went ahead and found an old PDF copy of a book on V:tM ghouls. . .
. . .yeah, I haven't done much else tonight. ^^; But hey, I didn't have anything too pressing to deal with, beyond a few typos in my latest chapter and a few tags to answer/queue up. Sometimes, you just wanna read. (And wonder who the fuck they hired to do the illustrations for that book, because SERIOUSLY.)
However, I should at least try to be semi-productive before hitting the sheets. So onward to answering shizz! Night all!

Date: 2016-06-12 03:50 am (UTC)Speaking of, be careful when going through Jersey. Everything you've heard about Jersey drivers is just about true. I know you probably won't need it but I'm going to email you my cell number. I'll just feel better knowing you have it even if you never use it. As long as you're between exit 52B on I-287 (which is the exit for the barn) and exit 21B on I-78 (which is near my brother) I can get to you in an hour or less. And same if you're between exit 10 and 15 on the Turnpike if you wind up going that way instead. Like I said I'm sure you'll be fine but let me do this for my piece of mind. :)

Date: 2016-06-12 04:18 am (UTC)If I put Rhode Island (because obviously I don't know your real address) to Hershey Park, PA the fastest way it takes you is 287 (5 and a half hour drive, though...I start going nuts after like 2 then I go to sleep, lol). Turnpike adds about a half hour to that.
Still, if you're gonna be going through my state, I feel better knowing you have a way to get in touch with me should I be needed. ^^

Date: 2016-06-12 05:20 am (UTC)Yeah, that's about right -- Mom said it's about six or so, so yeah. Nothing for it, though, as it would cost too much for us to fly there. We used to drive down to Florida for vacations, so we'll be okay.
