All Right Monday

crossover_chickKinda warm and muggy, and unsettled during the later part of the day -- we've apparently got thunderstorms moving in. Haven't heard any of the telltale rumbling yet. . .then again, I've got the AC on and my curtains drawn, so for all I know it's the end of the world out there. :P Tomorrow's supposed to be an extra-hot one, though -- very glad I work in a place with air conditioning!
At any rate, work wasn't too bad -- started off a bit slow, but there was plenty of mail to keep me occupied through the afternoon. And I got my supervisor's approval for Friday off, which means I can go see Ghostbusters whenever I like :) Plus it's a full day off that spares me three vacation hours thanks to the building already closing early. w000~
Got home on the early bus, and took advantage of some of the spare time to finish up Chapter 8 of "In The Land of the Dead." Poor Lizzie has her freakout, then Bonejangles gives her a push back into determination to help her sister. I like writing their dynamic -- it's adorable. And I'm looking forward to finally getting to BJ's love confession later, and Lizzie's realization that she might actually reciprocate. Good times! Gotta get through the intro to the Ball & Socket first, though -- this time with added Arthur and Lorina! I look forward to seeing their reaction to Ms. Plum and Paul the Head Waiter and all the rest.
As it stands, I gotta finish up some tumblr and FF.net stuff so I can get to bed. I leave you with this cute little ficlet of "Anna" comforting her little brother after he has a nightmare. G'night all, sleep tight!
