Lots of Stuff To Answer on DW = Almost Nothing on Tumblr

Not a situation I'm COMPLAINING about, just an interesting observation. Butterfly Boy had exactly one reply in his queue, while I have a long PM and two RP replies over here on DW, plus a personal comment. So it goes.

Day has been all right, despite starting with horrible traffic. (It's taking me longer than I want to read I Shall Wear Midnight because I keep getting distracted about how long the slowdown on the bus is going to be each morning.) Work was quiet but acceptably busy, and I got everything drafted over my various breaks. Also got in a walk since the weather was nice -- started out chilly but ended up pretty warm. Cooling down again now, which at least makes sleep nicer. That's the thing I like about fall and spring -- warm days, cool nights, able to have the windows open whenever I want.

Finished up edits on Chapter 11 earlier -- yay, another thing I can whack off the list! So we're good to go there on Thursday evening. In DragonVale, I have done some calculations, and it looks like I'll be able to get all the missing dragons, Ma Goodie's greenhouse, and the Lost Olympus island, PLUS another Omnitat to hold the remaining Mascot dragons. w00t :D Spending spree will probably be tomorrow afternoon, as we still have a day and a little under a half to go.

Big happy moment of the day: my friend Don't Offend The Bees illustrated the moment Victor first punched Splatter in "Forgetting You!" Seriously, that got such a big smile from me when I saw it at lunch. . .and made me reread the chapter earlier this evening. Because who can get enough of Splatter getting his teeth knocked out by Victor Van Dort? :)

Okay, I gotta answer all these comments and try to get to bed at a decent time. Sleep is necessary for proper functioning and all that. Night all!

I had enough for all the dragons I didn't breed and their pedestals. With the remaining I bought the Lost Island for myself and also all the reward Habitats (Spooky, one of the Olympus ones, the Omnitat). I'm figuring part of them will count towards prizes at the next event since that seems to be the norm now. Oh, and Ma Goody's Treatery. I'd also bought the Monument of the Epics prior to the end but I haven't leveled up any of the Epics yet.

I actually went on my spending spree last night -- got the remaining dragons, Omnitat, Enchanted Greenhouse, and Lost Island (which looks cooool). I'd already gotten the special Olympus habitat earlier, and I had just enough to squeeze in a Spooky habitat. :D And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised -- ah well, less to worry about with the Candy Bash and whatever they're calling the Christmas-themed event this year. :P
