In the sense that there were apparently a couple of major accidents this morning, but SOMEHOW my bus got to Providence in-between them! There was some congestion, there always is, but I managed my usual 8 to 4 schedule. Though I had to fight with my work computer this morning to get it to run at a decent speed -- ugh, every time that machine updates I swear it forgets how to work for a little while. I got what I needed to done, however, including fixing up an import file that was giving me grief. New people going into the system, yaaay~

Had a decent driving lesson after work, though I messed up near the end when Dad told me to make a right turn and I tried to make a left. Meh. But I'm feeling more comfortable with the car, and with going around and keeping out of people's way, and parking. We'll see how long that lasts when I actually get out onto the roads proper, buuuut. . .for now, I think I'll be good taking at least the written test.

Also got some writing done -- I have never been all that happy with the beginning of Chapter 3 of "Remembering You," so I ended up writing a new scene of Alice struggling to get to sleep before she falls back into Wonderland. It feels more natural, and I finally got to add in that moment (in summary, but hey) where one of the kids tries to tell Victor to wet his pants. Alice was not happy. So yeah, now I'm up to where the chapter started before, and I'm a lot happier with it. Hooray for edits. :)

And I just finished Butterfly Boy's queue, which had some nice stuff -- the Queen Wins version now has a doggy. I think it'll do him good. *wonders if she can get that anon to give Catch Us a pet too* Time to finish off replies and hit the sheets -- which I should also probably change quickly before bedtime. They're talking a chilly week, so it might be time to add my big warm blanket to the proceedings. . .
