Countdown to Thanksgiving Over

crossover_chickWas a pretty dull day at work -- I spent the majority doing another phone import (this time for people who changed phones recently). Lots of little fiddly bits to get just right. . . Gave me plenty of downtime for drafting RP replies for Butterfly Boy's queue and the like, though. Always appreciated. And I got out at three, which was even more appreciated. Had to take a longer bus home, but I still got back before five. Gave me just enough time for a Sims session before dinner! Nikal had kind of a "meh" day at work, poor girl. Well, they all can't be winners, I suppose. I also went ahead and decided to post up Chapter 5 of "Remembering You" a bit early, because why not? Read it on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website. Though I should warn you, this one has the feels big-time -- especially regarding some of what Bumby did to Victor. We have our first look in Victor's head at the end, and it's not a very happy place to be. Alice helps, at least, but still.
Not much else to say -- been wandering on and off TV Tropes while getting BBV's queue done. Planning on finishing up replies and suchlike. Plan for tomorrow is to watch Fun With Shorts's completed Thanksgiving short and Linkara, play some more Vampire (more fun with those damn cameras), have a drive, do some writing, and -- well, that's about it for anything solid. I'll probably wander into some internet sinkhole sooner or later. XD Until then!

Date: 2016-11-24 10:37 pm (UTC)The whole Mistress thing makes me a little uncomfortable, but that's me. I'll get through it to finish the story because I want to see Victor better. Or as better as he will get in this one since you still got Fixing You to do (still looking forward to that one).

This SHOULD be the most explicit mention of it, though I can't make any promises because of rewriting/editing. Victor will have his big moment of triumph, don't worry -- though yeah, he'll need "Fixing You" to truly get over some of his issues. (I'm looking forward to it too!)
