A Historic Meeting

Yup, Mysteria finally walked by! Marty greeted her, she told him a joke, then went in to play chess. (What is it with my Sims and chess?) When Doc came home from his job (he's reached the top of the elder Science track), they played some chess together. Finally, the Lloyds and the Browns know each other!
-VD: Great, now to see what happens when Clara enters the picture.-
What indeed.
Marty threw a party on Sunday -- poorly attended, but talking and joking with his few guests allowed him to have a nice party memory.
-M: How many guests did I have?-
*blush* Two, technically. Your max was four, but I had you call George and Doc's friends as well as your own, and they didn't really know you. Tiffany came over, and we got a guy named River Smith to join in too.
-M: *frowning* That sounds like a bummer party to me.-
You got "A Good Time" -- not the worst score. It fulfilled a major want, anyway. Doc and George are doing good -- one of George's friends called to ask him to talk to her more -- I had him call her back and invite her over. George also got a promotion to Field Researcher. The money tree is also blooming a bit more often, so you guys stand a chance of getting to lower middle class.
-D: Oh joy.-
One slightly weird thing happened on Monday -- Marty came home from school with a friend. This friend:

-J: Hey, you moved us in!-
Uh -- no I didn't. You guys are still in the family screen.
-J: *puzzled* Then -- what am I doing on the bus? Don't I need a house to go to school?-
Maybe you act like a Townie before you're moved in. Anyway, it was a bit of rough going with you -- you turned him down for chat twice and refused to play red hands with him.
-M: Bad SimJennifer-
-J: *eyeing him* You're getting as bad as her.-
You became friends over -- guess what? The chess board! But rather weak friends -- when I move you in, I'll invite Marty over and bulk up the friendship.
-J: Good.-

Job Stuff -- got in three applications -- Bennys, Walden's, and a FYE -- For Your Entertainment. It sells music, movies and games. I'd really like to work in Walden's (familiar enviroment) but my second choice is FYE. Books and movies, people.
