Starting To Feel Better

crossover_chickBlew my nose a lot today, but it's been tapering off as the day goes on. Still not at 100%, and planning on taking some medicine tonight, but I don't think this cold will be sticking around too long. Hooray, says I.
Car is fully fixed from the brake incident, in case I didn't mention -- Mom and Dad took it to the garage yesterday, and we picked it up after work. Drove up and back today without incident, which was nice. Traffic was even reasonable! Always a good thing. Work itself was fairly bog-standard, though it was nice to have my other two coworkers back. Always good to have some extra people around to lighten the load.
Wrote more on "Fixing You" today, working on wrapping up the pre-Land of the Dead stuff. I think I can bring the chapter to an end tomorrow. Then I might take a day or two for "The Technicolor Phase" before moving onto the next bit. Nice to have another project I can turn to when I'm not feeling the first. Even if I am thinking up a whole new complicated backstory to turn the story poly... On the other hand, the whole reason I liked the prompt that inspired it was that it fit so nicely into my poly feels for Victor, Victoria, Emily, and Alice, so...
And then the rest of my evening has been largely doing the Valice Multiverse queue (plenty of activity tonight), reading some fanfic from a friend (a cool take on wing-fic for her favored fandom of Dirk Gently), and getting my friend Nebby to do a Valice take on a married life meme. So all in all, a pretty good day. Now if only my nose would stop feeling so stuffy...
Ah well. That's life. Gonna go take some medicine, then get my room prepped for sleep in another warm night. At least it's supposed to cool down this weekend... Sleep tight all!
