Pretty Typical Monday

crossover_chickHeavy traffic into work, lots to do (more than usual, in fact -- I had to send out a few letters, and do the credit card gifts from over the weekend since my coworker who usually does them wasn't in), and just basically getting back into the groove for the work week. You know how it goes. (I assume, anyway.) At least there were no major disasters in my neck of the woods. That Las Vegas shooting was something else, huh? :( My sympathies and best wishes to the survivors. It seems 2017 is determined to end with as much pain and destruction as possible. :(
In more positive news, got more on "Fixing You" done -- tightening up what I've got, for the most part. I DO let my characters natter on in the first draft. But it's going well -- the characters just got confirmation that Bonejangles's first name is Jeremy. He is annoyed, and everyone else is amused at his annoyance. XD Also making plans for starting the "Secundus" sequel next month -- I dunno if I'll do it as an official NaNoWriMo, simply because work and I might want to keep going on "Fixing You" at the same time, but it at least feels appropriate to finally get going on that in November. I've been having fun reposting the original on AO3, and it'll be nice to return to that universe. :)
Really not much else to say, honestly -- which is good, because I still have two comments to answer, and then I've really got to get to bed. So yeah. night all, sleep tight!
