Happy Halloween!

crossover_chickIt was a pretty nice one, all things considered. Work was fairly quiet and low-key, which I appreciated -- although once again I was having trouble with my computer clock. *grumbles* Traffic getting out of the city was bad, but not TOO horrible, so hooray there. And we had a fair amount of kids come by trick-or-treating! It's interesting -- here, you get small groups trickling in throughout the night (starting early too -- our first trick-or-treaters came in shortly after 5!), instead of the two big groups you get in Wakefield. Mom thinks we saw about 50 or so kids tonight. Which still wasn't enough to put a major dent in our candy stockpile. XD I think we'll just get one bag next year.
As promised (er, did I promise it here? Pretty sure I did mention it), my costume this year was a redo of the BioShock Little Sister, in honor of the game's tenth anniversary! You can see some photos here! It's somewhat different from my last run as a Little Sister -- my hair wasn't long enough to put up in a ponytail like I did the first time I wore it, and I ditched the "petticoat" we made for it (couldn't figure out how to button it, and it looked scratchy as heck). Basically I went from a BS2 Little Sister to a BS1 model. XD But I still had fun -- it was great to give out candy again, and most of the kids were cute and polite. I got a number of compliments on my costume -- even managed to startle a couple of older kids! >D Good times, good times.
No writing today, but I wasn't expecting much there -- thanks to being the candy girl, I didn't really have time for it. I did fit in watching Corpse Bride near the end of the trick-or-treating rounds, and I watched both "Talking Games" videos on the Alice games's story after my shower earlier. So I'm feeling very satisfied fandom-wise. :) Also got up the Inkwell Halloween Party -- boy, isn't that a blast from the past? But I'm glad I did it. Nice to bring the tradition back. Also answered a Halloween LOL on one of my Nexus comms, so yeah. Very busy, but very fun Halloween. :P
And I'm not quite done yet -- I've got some queues to set up on both my tumblrs. At least I've got some time tonight to do so! *cracks knuckles* Let's get moving. Night all, hope your Halloween was great!
