Poets Of The Fall Songs and Kubz Scouts 60 Second Game Videos?

Tonight's a good Friday night. :) Just put up a new Poets of the Fall song as my Song Saturday, and discovered an older one that will be going up next Saturday because it is incredibly Valicey and I need it in my life. And I've been watching Jay from the Kubz Scouts (aka THAT DUDE) play silly video games and enjoying his antics -- Helloween will always be my favorite, but I've gotten some good laughs out of this guy. And he does games Hells isn't likely to play, so win-win.

Was a pretty quiet Friday overall -- work was basically all about the roster maintenance, and driving was basically just going over to Stop & Shop to get some groceries. And get rained on -- went in while it was sunny, then a passing super-soaker shower came by while we were heading out. Fortunately we were parked near the door, so we didn't get too wet, but damn. And then a wasp got into the kitchen, and Dad somehow managed to break one of the shades on our ceiling fan/light fixture while trying to kill it with a towel. (Mom's of the opinion it had to have been cracked already, because how the fuck would that work otherwise?) It's nothing major and we'll all okay, but that didn't seem a good start to the weekend.

Things are better now, though. I have my funny videos and good music; I've written more on "Fixing You" (juust about done with this chapter -- establishing that Alice's hallucinations have lessened now that she's gotten more closure on the family situation); I've gotten my VictorLuvsAlice queue done for Saturday; and I'm just about to start on answering RP stuff and getting the ValiceMultiverse queue done. So that's good. I've had weekends that started a lot worse.

So yeah, time to be productive. And then watch more ridiculous videos about a game where the goal is to survive the nuclear apocalypse. :p Night all!

I know you probably don't have any interest in Dancing With the Stars, but Drew Scott (of Property Brothers) and his partner did a Charleston to "Remains of the Day" on their Halloween episode. I found a video for you.

I don't, no, but I had heard that a CB song was being featured during the Halloween episode, so thanks for finding that for me! Not a bad Charleston (even with that fall), but I wasn't impressed with the song's cover. (I mean, I know they had to shorten it for the show, but it could have been done a lot better, in my opinion.)

The judges actually thought the fall was part of the choreography. Fits Victor, at least. :p

Also I normally don't care about the show either. I'm only watching for Lindsay Sterling and Drew.

Heh, yeah, it does -- even if Drew was dressed up more like Jack Skellington.

I know that feeling. Only reason I watched stuff like Suburban Commando and the Tremors TV series was because Christopher Lloyd was in them.
