Well That Was Unexpected

crossover_chickMy Monday was cut short by a leak in our basement. Seriously -- one of my coworkers went down to restock the fridge with water, and came back up saying the maintenance guys were battling some serious water down there. And then, after lunch, we got the e-mail saying that they needed to shut off the water to fix things properly -- and since that would stop us being able to use the restrooms, they had to close the whole building down. So we all got out at three. Okay then. So how did I use my spare time?
-->Writing: Got some more written on "Fixing You" -- our favorite couple has toppled into Wonderland! Or, well, they haven't quite finished toppling yet. Almost! Next up, I have to figure out the best way to describe their clothes (as I had the idea of putting Alice in a Victor-inspired dress to match Victor's Alice-inspired blue suit).
-->BioShock: Went on an audio diary hunt -- cleared out the last of them from the level. Also killed my third Big Daddy and saved what I believe is my final Little Sister. Good times! Currently parked in Improved Eugenics, gathering goodies before completing my Big Daddy transformation and heading for the final levels.
-->YouTube: Helloween uploaded a fairly short Darkwood set, so I went ahead and watched it. Creepy lakes of all sizes were explored -- one yielded an assault rifle, the other an island house filled with terrors (and chompers). And then, during the night, an asshole centipede enemy knocked Helloween into his own bear trap and slaughtered the heck out of him. Poor guy. *pats* There was also a Sim Supply video (him making some cats he met at the RSPCA and giving them good homes in his game) and a RabbidLuigi one (about games microtransactions ruined).
Yeah -- maybe not the most productive use of my time, but I at least had fun. And between the writing and getting my queue for VictorLuvsAlice set through the beginning of Thursday, I did get a few things done. Though it appears my DW RP will have to wait until tomorrow -- got caught up earlier in answering comments on my fanfics (somebody's doing a reread and is being enthusiastic in their praise). Gives me a little more time to answer everything, I suppose. . .
Right now, though, I really need to get to bed. Night all!
