Here's how it went:

Me: Oh boy -- I've got all this stuff from Helloween to watch, including a new Goldhawke episode, plus some other stuff waiting in my Watch Later queue! I'd better get on BioShock NOW, so I can take on Frank! Hopefully it's not too long a boss and I can start my marathoning early. . .

Frank Fontaine: *takes less than ten minutes to defeat*

Me: . . .That works, I guess. . .

Yeah, the final boss is -- distressingly underwhelming. Yeah, sure, he hit me a few times, ran around the arena a lot; but he isn't really much harder than any other boss, especially since his first two forms you can play Opposing Elements with (he goes through an Incinerate-based form first, a Winter Blast-based form second, and an Electro-bolt-based form third). And you have all the time in the world to drain him of his Adam when he's in his chair. I think I used like three health kits during the whole battle, and not even ONE Eve Hypo. (Admittedly, I had that gene tonic on where health kits also boost your EVE, so. . .) It's just -- I was expecting more. And then, after getting the good ending, I was just kicked back to the main screen, with a "continue" option! I had to make the credits roll myself! So yeah, not the best ending to my BioShock experience. Still a good game, but -- eh. Last levels could have used a bit more work.

But, as stated, it was good for my YouTube watching. Got through:

-->Helloween The Evil Within 2 set, where Detective Budget saved another Mobius operative and restarted a server to get access to all sorts of goodies around the map

-->Helloween Darkwood set, where he slayed a ground-snout causing a massive storm in the middle of the great lake, but then got slayed himself in the night by chompers and his own bear trap -- a mere half-hour until dawn, poor bastard

-->Helloween Soul Calibur 3 video, where he showed off one of his favorite fighting games

-->Helloween Donkey Kong Country set, where he showed off a favorite platform as his new Saturday game (and died horribly many times trying to navigate some tricky barrel sections)

-->Helloween/Kikoskia Goldhawke set, featuring the adventures of our favorite not-exactly-the-good-guys as they navigate a miserable swamp and generally take the piss out of everything adventure-book-related

-->The Sim Supply "Wags To Riches" set, featuring Katrina in her new outfits -- and her new name (turns out Deligracy, who had the save file to fix up Kat's clothes, also took the opportunity to rename her "Katrina Bigdickie" -- James was amusedly annoyed when he discovered it)

-->The Kubz Scouts "Hello, Neighbor" set, featuring more adventures in the fucked-up house of the neighbor, with many scares from the relentless neighbor's hunting

-->RabbidLuigi's list on "Moments in Games Where He Stopped Playing" -- and not always from frustration, either. . .

Also lots of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency Season 2 clips. What, it was research for my latest gift fic. :p So yeah, a very YouTubey day. But I did get said gift fic written. Plus my Valice Multiverse queue done, and a bit more of my VictorLuvsAlice queue as well. Go me.

And now I really have to get to bed because it's late and I do have work in the morning. Two more weeks. . .
