crossover_chick: Doc looking very sarcastically over his shoulder (BTTF: in a sarcastic mood)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
-->Weather was ick most of the day -- although the ride both into and out of work wasn't too bad, which was good. Still, slushier and snowier than I like without a day off or delay

-->Had to call someone about a direct debit that hadn't gone through because I'd forgotten a step in doing it; fortunately she was nice about it and gave us a good time to retry

-->The catered staff meeting we were supposed to have today was canceled -- which I didn't realize until lunchtime. (Should have cottoned on when they were talking possible delays/snow days yesterday, but. . .) Fortunately a coworker had spare tomato soup that she let me have, so I didn't starve, but -- yeah

-->Sort of a general tense feeling in the air from one of my coworkers rushing to get a bunch of stuff done before she takes some leave next week, and my other coworkers trying to figure out the best procedures to follow for our capital campaign

-->Took quite a while for me to get going on the next chapter of "Fixing You's" edits (fortunately, rewatching some of the Dollhouse bits finally yielded the inspiration I needed, and I got a good page and a half of rewrites done)

-->Continually dropping/knocking over small stuff at home (dropped a bit of my lasagna while transferring it to the plate, dropped the conditioner in the shower, that sort of thing)

So yeah, not the best Wednesday. Hmph. At least I got a bit more of my VictorLuvsAlice queue done, and some early drafts of replies for my ValiceMultiverse queue tomorrow. And my cold DOES seem to be going away, a few nasty coughs aside. Really hoping I'll be myself again by this weekend. . . Anyway, time for bed, and hoping that tomorrow will be better. Night all!
