crossover_chick: Victor and Alice together as if they're cuddling (OTP: Victor luvs Alice)

Work had it's frustrating moments, but it wasn't too bad, and I managed to fix all the things that were wrong on the Weekly Reports, so that's something. (Googling gets one far, sometimes.) I've got a bunch of new projects on my plate, but I've got some time to get a couple of them done, so that helps some, anyway. Just gotta take it one day at a time. . .especially since we're officially down one coworker. Her last day today -- it was pretty low-key, though a few tears were shed. I hope she does well wherever she ends up.

As for the day itself, I got a nice card, a new necklace, and a s'mores chocolate bar (which, hilariously, basically had a bunch of marshmallows stuck to the bottom of the bar instead of somehow mixed in) from my parents, which was sweet of them. I'd sent them an e-card earlier (I never remember these things in time to get proper cards), and I did a funny pic of my new Victor and Alice dolls for Mom to make her laugh tonight (since she had another tough moment with her work pissing her off with useless meetings) -- you can see it here. Along with my official Valicetines -- got a lot of mileage out of Vamp!Alice and Victor in my Sims 4 game. :p

I also wrote another page on "Fixing You" (which, uh, actually involved Victor getting creepily attacked by a Puppet-Hand Spider), did a bit of my VictorLuvsAlice queue, and watched the latest Silent Hill 2 set from Hells (Otherworld remains super-creepy, and James has lost his Maria to Pyramid Head), and a new build video by The Sim Supply (the No Neutrals challenge, which he kind of followed the letter of, but not the spirit, by using a lot of pastels, greyish-blues, and browish-oranges. Certainly made an interesting house, though). Oh, and I wanted to share with you guys the Build Challenge he did the other day: No Walls Build Challenge, where he decides to build a pretty damn awesome treehouse! Trust me, it's worth a watch, even if you aren't terribly into The Sims. :)

So yeah, not too shabby a day at all, in the end. And even nicer -- we're officially past the halfway mark in the week. Just two more days, then I get a three day weekend. Woo, won't THAT be nice. . . Night all!
