crossover_chickIt's been a mixed day:
-->Woke up early this morning with what felt like cramps, but when I got up nothing was happening -- I put a pad in just to be safe. Midway through the morning, I felt like I'd gotten another false alarm (which happens a LOT with my period) and went to the bathroom to take it out.
Literally the second I removed it, I started bleeding.
Fortunately, my workplace has pads available, but that seriously steamed me. I really hate my body sometimes.
-->Also had a hell of a time trying to change my password on my work computer -- I don't know HOW I kept mistyping things three times in a row. . .
-->Work itself wasn't that bad, though, mostly because I wasn't being interrupted every five seconds for a change. I actually completed an import, did a report thing for the new system incoming, got on a bunch of money from Fiscal, and got a start on that capital campaign stuff (which went slower than expected because I had to merge a bunch of duplicates and find a bunch of IDs. . .also my period saps my energy stores like crazy so. . .). Nice to actually get some stuff DONE, I gotta say.
-->Weather was pretty shitty, though -- I don't know if it ever got as warm as they were saying, and it was raining off and on for a good chunk of the day. I actually did get out for a short walk, but I was really cold (again, thanks to my period -- it likes to screw up all sorts of things about my body), and I declined going out again when I got home (instead just did some exercise in my room). Plus tomorrow's weather has gone from "It's gonna be 70, go out and enjoy things" to "it's gonna be 59 for a high but that's in the morning and then we're going to have a streak of absolutely miserable weather." *huffs* We were supposed to go out for a walk around the Lincoln Woods Park tomorrow. . .no point now, though. Was kind of looking forward to that too. . .
-->Got some more written on "Fixing You" -- the Colossal Nell has moved to the fire-breathing stage, which Victor and Alice are not happy about. I think this fight might need some tightening in the third editing phase, but it is still pretty fun to do. :)
-->Watched some more "Super Sim" -- two episodes in one! Mainly because James recorded a big chunk in 360p and decided to put it up as a "secret" episode (too embarrassed about the quality to make it an official one). So I watched 18.5 and 19 today. Max has completed the "Freelance Botanist" aspiration, maxed Mischief, Logic, and Gourmet Cooking skills, completed the Criminal career, written some books, and gotten the ingredients to make the powerful dish ambrosia, which can bring the dead back to life! . . .But first James is going to have him make an ambrosia store so he can sell it and complete the Fortune Aspirations. XD You'll have to wait a little longer, Paolo!
-->Got my queues up for ValiceMultiverse and VictorLuvsAlice on tumblr, which is good. . .except a bunch of people messaged me too. And I don't want to leave them hanging without SOME sort of answer, even if I'm not feeling that social, so. . . *sigh* Let me get on that now. Night all -- we'll see what Saturday brings.
