Much Quieter Thursday
Jun. 14th, 2018 11:35 pmWhich, trust me, I appreciate. I was actually able to get some stuff done that's been sitting on my to-do list for a while -- processing company maintenance! Everything that isn't a "new person add" (which half the time isn't) has been piling up simply because I don't have the time to handle it -- mostly because I constantly have to go back and look up stuff because I need to confirm they haven't made a mistake. Caught one today where they hadn't credited the right parish for something. . . *sigh* I'm also doing more reports for the parishes for the capital campaigns, but that's no surprise at this point. That should take up most of my day tomorrow. At least it'll go by. . .
Weather was good enough for walking (though we're expecting rain tomorrow morning -- but then the weekend goes full summer, yay), and I got some other stuff done too:
-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2: Weird Weird West" -- Victor has been introduced to his baby! Just gotta officially reveal the kid's name to the rest of the group, and that should just about be a wrap! :D
-->Watched two Sim Supply vids (Helloween appears to be Sickoween, so no Alice today): The latest "Let's Play A Mad Scientist" episode (James bemoans the fact that his job involves more chatting with coworkers than inventing stuff, and ruins a dance party after a bad interaction with a friend by turning the DJ booth into an umbrella table XD), and another "Super Sim" episode (James finds a way to cheese the aspiration system again by realizing that only ONE of the goals in the final part of the "Party Animal" aspiration requires a certain level of success on your thrown party -- cue him throwing 15 HOUSE PARTIES IN A ROW that he immediately ends after a couple of Sim minutes since that still counts as throwing and attending a social event XD)
-->Caught up on the latest Sims 4 Seasons news (livestream tomorrow! I won't be able to watch it, but I should be able to find some good highlights videos)
-->Did my ValiceMultiverse queue (and found a good source of Alice pictures, so I stuck a bunch in drafts for later) and found a cool video of somebody's AMA toys for Saturday on VictorLuvsAlice
-->Watched a video on how an awesome Jules-Verne-themed "Space Mountain" coaster in Disneyland Paris was ruined because we can't have nice things :( (friend on tumblr linked me to it because he thought Doc would have liked it -- yeah, Doc would have been all over it, and so would I, scary coaster or not)
And now it's time to empty out the inbox and go to bed. Just one more day to go. . . Night all!
