Posting Fic Is So Frustrating Sometimes

crossover_chickI love you, Archive Of Our Own, but dealing with your interface occasionally mucking up my formatting and not letting me put notes on first chapters properly without some fiddling is annoying. My own fault for doing it so late at night, I suppose. . . Anyway, if anyone's interested, got a new AU up: The Technicolor Phase, a soulmatey-AU where you get colors from anyone important in your life. You know, that one that I keep talking about on Saturdays, where the endgame is a poly foursome between Victor, Victoria, Emily, and Alice. First chapter is finally up! . . .It's all about Emily getting killed, but you have to start somewhere.
Other things of note today:
-->Work was mostly quiet, which allowed me to get my parish weekly reports done. . .but now CAP's back asking me for things, so now I have to get a school's updated roster sorted and try to write up some instructions on doing same so the school office can try doing it for themselves in the future. *sigh*
-->Weather was not quite as good as before -- a lot cloudier, since we've got rain moving in tomorrow. But it was still nice enough for walking, so that was good.
-->Got another good chunk written on "Fixing You," covering the mini reception being held at Houndsditch. Mostly sweet moments, with a bit of bitterness leaking in when Fixxler mentions somebody coming into his shop for a love potion (as you might imagine, Victor and Alice have dim views on such things). But Victor and Alice got to feed each other cake, and that was sweet. :)
-->Watched Helloween's one-shot LP on Bloodstained Curse of the Moon, a sort of 8-bit style platformer in the vein (heh) of Castlevania that's serving as a sort of prequel to another game not out yet (Kickstarter project, I believe). Helloween had done a quick look at it before, but people wanted him to play the whole thing, so he did. It looks like a fun little game -- I like the variety in the characters you can play as, and it's funny to watch Helloween be super-competent at something, only to sudden fail hilariously at a certain point (also a selling point in his Dark Souls LPs XD). Also watched a "Fun With Shorts" that looked like a short on gun safety, but was actually a tire commercial. Go fig.
And now I have to empty out the inbox and go to bed, because getting up that first chapter took WAY more time than I thought it would. *grumbles* At least we're past the halfway point in the week now. . .night all!
