Got quite a bit accomplished in a half-day -- the credit card and direct debit charges; the last of those final reports (hooRAY); and a label file for a future mailing our processing company is doing. Even fit in a walk on my lunch break! I also had an import arrive from said company, but as I had to a) match up all the credit card stuff to a transaction report and b) couldn't get the money in and the money reported to match, that has to wait until Monday. Hmph. I got all the most important stuff done, and that's the main thing. :)

Had a pretty productive day out of work too:

-->Took a bit of time this morning to get my pictures ready for the next Sims Wednesday update on my tumblr. Thought it was going to be another three-part update, but nope!

. . .It's four. XD What, a lot happened! Or, at least, I took a lot of pictures I wanted to share. It was the first holiday I ever got to celebrate in The Sims 4, cut me a break. :p

-->Did some more editing on Chapter 2 of "Fixing You" -- cleaning up some dialogue, adjusting things here and there, talking more about how the Liddells probably wouldn't have liked the Van Dorts XD

-->Went out and used up the last of the Dunkin Donuts gift card we got from Dad's friend Paul as a housewarming gift (yes, it took us an ENTIRE YEAR to finish it off) on a frozen hot chocolate (also picked up some gum from the local supermarket, as I was out). Forgotten how GOOD those things really are -- I dunno what kind of chocolate stuff they use, but it is tasty. :)

-->Played another round of BioShock 2: Minerva's Den. Sigma (the Big Daddy I'm playing as) has cleared out the Air-tite Archives and found the plot-important Gravity Well plasmid! Which is pretty fun to toss around and watch unfortunate Splicers get whirled about. Even works on the big Brutes! :D I also defeated another Big Daddy, rescued another Little Sister, survived some gathers (having traps and security on my side again makes a HUGE difference), and managed to repel an attack from a Big Sister (not without dying and needing to be revived, admittedly, but still). I've also updated my plasmid kit -- Insect Swarm and Cyclone Trap are both level 2 now (seriously, the bees are SO BROKEN in this version of the game -- they can kill weaker Splicers basically all on their own), and I found the Booze Hound gene tonic, so now I can get drunk to refresh my EVE, yay~ XD Oh, and I now have a shotgun, which is delightful. Thought the Laser Gun is still the best. XD Next time, gonna grab some more goodies with my new plasmid, then move onto the next area!

-->Watched a bunch of YouTube videos, namely:

A) A very short "Fun With Shorts" that asked the question "Why doesn't Cathy eat breakfast?" and then never answered it (I thought it would be something to do with milk being healthy, since it was sponsored by the Dairy Council, but no dice). Josh was as confused as the rest of us.

B) A short Resident Evil 4 set by Helloween that was basically a boss fight against the creepy village chief who looked kind of like Rasputin -- well, until he literally split in half and became a torso attached to tentacles and a centipede-like spine, ugh. Helloween managed to put him down (after getting killed once thanks to thinking he could survive two hits from the guy's tentacles -- nope), collect some treasures, and make it to the next area -- a big freaking castle! Which is why the set ended up short -- Helloween's using a special "better textures" mod for the game, and he hadn't gotten the update that improved the castle yet. Whoops. XD Well, leaves us something to look forward to, I suppose.

C) Two official episodes of "Rags To Riches Seasons" by The Sim Supply (James tried to figure out why he couldn't start deadly fires on his lot without magical sprinklers appearing to put out the blaze -- turns out the sprinklers in the garden apparently work as a general fire-prevention system; I got to see how the puppet theater actually works in the game (so much stuff I haven't even really looked at!); Sebastian planted some more birds of paradise and made more flower arrangements to pay the bills; some creepy men decided to sleep in the kids' beds (a random yard sale stranger in Raggy's, the ghost of good old Benedryl in Richie's)) and one mini-episode that showed off a small makeover of the upstairs (all the bedrooms are actually decorated now!). He hasn't been releasing episodes quite so rapidly lately, so I'm actually almost caught up! :D Just one episode to go currently, about Sebastian and Luna's anniversary mini-vacation :) Of course, then I have to back to catching up on "Super Sim," but those episodes are shorter and not coming out as frequently.

-->Got my VictorLuvsAlice queue up for the beginning of the weekend, and did my ValiceMultiverse one -- quiet over there, but there was an ask, anyway.

So yeah, doing good, can't complain. Tomorrow's supposed to be nice for the most part, if somewhat more humid -- and then, Sunday, it's all supposed to go to shit, weather-wise. So that'll be fun. *shakes head* Well, I had no big plans, so I'm not really bothered. Just want to catch up on the last of my videos, play some more Sims and BioShock, and do some more writing. Simple goals, I think I can achieve them.

Right now, though, my goal is taking care of the stuff in my inbox. Night all!
