As has become standard around here -- the half-day really does make a huge difference for my mood. Especially since work tends to be a lot quieter -- spent most of today catching up on various kinds of maintenance. Slowly but surely chipping away at the piles that have built up. . . Though my new computer never showed up. >.< And when I went down to the office, I couldn't find the guy who was supposed to set it up. Well, whatever -- I got my work done, and that was the important thing.

Afternoon's been just fine. I:

-->Finished up edits on "Fixing You" Chapter 2, hooray~ Now I can start Chapter 3 and see how that goes! Hopefully a bit faster. . .but the story gets done when it gets done. I'm not gonna rush myself and produce a poorer product

-->Watched The Sim Supply play The Sims 4 in 240p -- yes, apparently that is a resolution you can use. It was -- pretty awful-looking, as you might expect -- James couldn't even read the menu options! Also, he may have been nekkid while filming -- he very definitely wasn't wearing a shirt XD I also watched a new tiny house build from him -- two stories this time, with the living space/bathroom on the first floor and the bedroom on the second. Came out very nicely, and I liked the colors he used (lots of navy blues, and brass tones)

-->Played some BioShock 2: Minerva's Den -- finished hunting down vacuum bots in the first level (which involved having to break into a room with creepy robot Little Sisters -- did I mention these before? They're creepy and I kept expecting them to start changing places when I wasn't looking) and moved onto the second, Operations. Have found some upgraded weapons, hacked some security and a few safes, and killed me some splicers. Insect Swarm remains my favorite plasmid ever simply due to how freaking effective it is. Bees fix all problems eventually. Unless said problems are in water -- then you want to use Electrobolt. Anyway, will probably get back to my main mission next time I play, which is to poke around the ocean floor to find a signal beacon to reprogram to help us escape Rapture. Dunno how long this DLC is, but it's very fun, so I'm not complaining. :)

-->Back to YouTube -- watched a Deli video about building a house using only premade rooms (apparently the challenge was to use the premades provided by The Sims 4 itself, but Deli ended up using rooms from the gallery, and making a rather funky but functional little house); two RabbidLuigi videos (dumbest AI in games, which was a hoot; and most shocking deaths, which was more -- wow, some games really like killing off their protagonists); and two OXBox/OXTra videos (more dumb hiding places in games -- apparently assassins in Assassin's Creed can just SIT ON BENCHES to avoid being caught by guards; and adorable proposals real-world people made using video games, like convincing the company to help them make a personalized quest for their girlfriend or drafting GLaDOS herself to ask the question). All good stuff~

-->And then it was the usual setting up of queues -- actually, that reminds me, I have to set up Saturday on VictorLuvsAlice, darn it. Completely forgot for a second. . .at least ValiceMultiverse is all done. And I've only got one comment left in the inbox to answer, so better get on that too. *nods* All right then -- night all!
