Yeah, things are frustrating at work again -- this GL stuff just REFUSES to iron out, basically. Trying to run things by the date of deposit REALLY doesn't work, it appears -- especially when we suddenly get a bunch of credit card gifts on the system because our processing company never sent them to us to put on earlier. . . My boss may think it's great that we're no longer the "middle man" in a lot of the gift posting, but I'm feeling like I've lost a lot of control when it comes to ACTUALLY KNOWING what's going on. Maybe that'll change as we get used to the new system and the reports start actually working like they're supposed to, but. . .that's hard to imagine right now. *sigh*

Afternoon was all right, at least -- did my workout, had a nice supper of pastrami sandwiches, then did my writing. Chapter 6 is going pretty well -- William and Nell have had a fair few surprises at the hands of their guests. Not the least of which is mysticism being kind of a big thing outside of Burtonsville. :p And Victor's taken them down another notch on Emily again, which is always good. Fun times~

Also fun times -- videos! I watched a bunch of stuff in my Watch Later queue, including:

-->A trailer for the upcoming Call of Cthulhu video game -- which, uh, was rather underwhelming. Instead of being all atmospheric and properly eldritch, it was literally just a guy narrating what the game is and how the investigation mechanic works over bits of beta gameplay. The game itself looks interesting, but I wasn't impressed with the trailer at all.

-->The latest Atop The Fourth Wall, which took another look at "Mr. T and the T-Force!" The story continues to get more grounded in reality, sadly, but Mr. T DOES take out a "killdozer"-style monster truck and ram a Rolls Royce into someone's house. And we have a shocking but, when you think about it, very appropriate 10th anniversary storyline in store. . .

-->A list of weird cameos in video games from OXBox, ranging from things like Charlie Brooker getting shot in a sniper game, to Michael Jackson being a boxer in a boxing game. Can't say the weird is not delivered.

-->A 60 Seconds Kubz Scouts video, where a sick Jay plays the HELL out of the game trying to find new scenarios in the recent DLC (such as Ted and Dolores getting to go out on a date -- it turns out to be very underwhelming for the poor guy). And he's still trying to get this one "Not Alone" achievement. . .

-->And an old Hitman "3 Ways To Play" episode from the OXBox crew that I'm pretty sure I've seen before, but I love their Hitman episodes, so I didn't mind at all watching it again. :D Included death via woodchipper, death via spiky church turret, and death via sabotaged barge of fireworks. I approve of all three. :D

Then it was just a matter of setting up the ValiceMultiverse queue and emptying out the inbox! Still got two comments to answer, though, so I'd better get on that. Last half day of the summer tomorrow -- very much looking forward to it. Mom's talking maybe going to a nearby mini-golf course to see out the summer this weekend, so I think I'll do an early room clean tomorrow so I don't have to worry about it on Saturday (the most likely day for us to go). Still planning on fitting in BioShock Infinite though. . . We'll see how everything goes! For now, g'night!
