crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Usual story at work -- needing to do something for everyone, as well as help my coworkers through their stuff. Seriously, sometimes I don't know how people cope when I'm not there! At least I was able to get a couple of projects done and off my plate. . .sort of. . . Nothing's REALLY done around there, it seems. Which I know keeps me in a job, but it does wear on you after a while.

Also wearing on me -- it being so hard for the weather to actually get NICE. It was supposed to be at least partly sunny, but the sun really only peeked out briefly at the very beginning and very end of the day. The rest of the time -- well, I seriously thought it was going to rain once or twice. Fortunately, it didn't, and I was able to spend some time outside, getting my walks in (though it was a near thing at lunch -- had to go AFTER I ate, which wasn't ideal). I do feel better when I get in a good walk-run -- nice to exercise in more than just my room. And, as I've stated before, gotta enjoy it while it lasts -- Winter Is Coming and all. Though if it stays like this for a while, I'll be glad.

Writing went pretty well -- everyone's on their way to the Ball & Socket, trading a few stories and bringing each other up to speed on what happened in previous installments/chapters. :p I'm trying to keep the recaps concise and in-character, I promise. It's really all to see how others in the cast react to some of the shit everybody's been through. And to provide Victor fresh opportunities to beat himself up about stuff. :( At least this story is pretty much all about him OVERCOMING that in the end. . .

Had a baking theme in my YouTube subscriptions tonight -- a "Fun With Shorts" about the baking industry (which went into more detail than was strictly necessary -- although, it was a short to encourage people (that is, men) to consider baking as a career, so. . .), and an return to the Olde Safari Bread Shop in The Sim Supply (stray cats are everywhere, the owner's needs are tanking, and the boys are conducting breadxperimentation about if it's smarter profit-wise to sell loaves whole or by the slice. Also James hung up a fake bread wrist-rest he owns in the background just for lolz XD). Also watched some OXBox/OXTra videos: one about awesome, revolutionary games that unfortunately don't quite hold up in the modern era (and not just because graphics have come a long way, baby), and one about why video game characters should never go on vacations, because those vacations are playable and thus shall be ruined. Also one about meta-moments in games, but that was another repeat on my part. Not that I mind.

Of course, all that means it's taken me a a while to get to the part of the evening where I do queues and suchlike. So it's time to gird my loins, empty out my inbox, and get VictorLuvsAlice and TheValiceMultiverse done for another evening. Tomorrow -- more walking, more BioShock Infinite, and catching up on Atop The Fourth Wall are my main goals. *nods* Night all!
