Mostly because two things didn't go as I intended them to:

1. My morning cleaning routine got interrupted by Mom asking me if I wanted to go for a walk up at Lincoln Woods -- I did, I'd just assumed we were going after lunch. But she was studying for her new CNA course and needed a break, so we all piled in the car and headed over there. While I wasn't exactly a fan of having to come back to my dusting afterwards, it was a good walk. Nice to go somewhere different every so often.

And then, once we got back, my cleaning was interrupted again by lunch. And I was trying to hurry during the last part of my dusting, and ended up snapping the ear off one of my Corpse Bride toys (that one of Scraps and the dachshund sniffing each other's butts). Fortunately I found it, and Mom was able to glue it back on for me. Eventually got the cleaning done, which I suppose is the important thing, but I really do prefer getting it done all in one go if I can.

2. When I went to play BioShock Infinite this afternoon -- the game wouldn't load. At all. It would say it was running, then come up with a message saying it requires DirectX to be at a certain level or somesuch. I did some research on my iPad, but while others have come across the problem before, I'm not entirely sure what the solution is. Tried verifying my game files as one post said to do, but that did jack squat. So, no Infinite today. *sigh*

Now, here's the weird thing -- after supper, when I got back on my computer, I suffered a sudden Blue Screen of Death, with the error being "driver power failure." I looked it up, and apparently it's a fairly "benign" BSoD -- something goes wrong with a driver somewhere, and a restart generally fixes the issue. My PC has been running okay since it restarted itself, but I was thinking -- the DirectX error, from what I read, may be related to bad/improperly updated graphics card drivers. So now I'm wondering if the second error fixed the first. O.o Maybe I'll try to boot it up tomorrow just to see.

So yeah, not the most relaxing Saturday. Though I did get in a good walk, as noted above, had a nice lunch and dinner, and watched my Linkara -- the Stark Trek (2009) movie adaptation comic. Which, is a good adaptation, but is based off a meh movie, so Linkara found plenty to snark over. And more storyline stuff -- Twokara wondering just who and what he is, as is only natural. Poor guy. I also got in a video on someone's picks for the best clans to play when in Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines (she recommended Tremere for their overpowered Thaumaturgy discipline, and impressed that Malkavian and Nosferatu runs are the most fun after you've played the game at least once); Jay from the Kubz Scouts musing about the minigames he'd like to see in the Yandere Simulator clubs (based on the fact that the Martial Arts club now has a sparring minigame); and OXBox plays Hitman (No Subtitle), the Thailand mission (Andy is master of sneak as usual and ends up impersonating a drummer -- quite well, too; Jane smothers one target via cake and blows another up, before having to leg it; Mike gasses the hotel with a nonlethal insecticide and bonks his second target on the head with a coconut XD). So that was all good times. And I got the next Scene from Secundus up with minimal fuss: lines. Short and sweet bit about how good you need to be to draw with ink. Fortunately Victor is that good.

Right now, though, I've got the RP/Messaging thing going on, and thus a bunch of stuff to answer. Gotta get on that. Night all! Hope my gaming at least goes better tomorrow. . .
