Gassy Wednesday

crossover_chickNo, not me -- the car. Noticed that it was almost running on fumes, so I stopped for gas on my way home. Second time I've done that -- had to go around the pumps twice because I kept pulling up on the wrong side, and then it took me a minute to figure out how to begin fueling, but I got it in the end. Hey, life skill I've gotta have, so might as well get some practice in and make sure the car will not die tomorrow from lack of gas on the way in. That would be awkward.
Work was the usual pile of bullshit, so let's not get into it. I'm tired of having to relive my own annoyance. Took the afternoon as a rest day off working out and caught up with some other stuff instead. Had a decent supper, then got Bonejangles Pink up for "The Technicolor Phase," and another bit edited on Chapter 7 of "Fixing You." Which -- might just be a long chapter now. I dunno. Because part of me's like "well, I can split it here, but does it really make sense to. . ." I'll just keep going at it and seeing what happens. Wouldn't be the first time I had an extra-long chapter in a fic. . .and it's likely not to be the only one, given that we also have Victor's trip to Wonderland as well coming up later. . .
Over on YouTube, we had another "Fun With Shorts" (another one about making good habits, as illustrated by a kid who is bad at batting and another kid who is apparently kind of a jerk but that didn't really come through in the film at all), the next episode of Atop The Fourth Wall (terrible Star Trek: TNG comic, and a very interesting bit in the anniversary storyline), and another episode of Call Me Kevin's Jim Pickens shenanigans (Jim is slowly but surely wooing the Grim Reaper, and has started an official graveyard XD). So that was all lots of fun. :) Though it always leaves me wanting more. . .stupid job. Ah well, have a little extra time off upcoming.
And then it was time to catch up on websites and do my VictorLuvsAlice queue -- done through the first half of Saturday, so that's nice. Good to be a little ahead. Just gotta clear out the inbox as usual. Hopefully I sleep a little better tonight -- been having a tough time actually going to sleep this week. Though I'm also pretty sure I'm PMSing, so I'd bet that has something to do with it. Which isn't doing my mood any favors, but -- meh. Night all!
