-->Did the usual room cleaning in the morning while my parents worked in the garage -- they're trying to tidy up in there and get everything some proper shelf space and the like.

-->Went out to do Monster Golf after lunch -- it's a little indoor fun center just over the state line that features a mini golf course and a mini arcade, all under blacklights to make stuff glow. Took us a bit to find it, as strangely enough they do not have any proper signs on their building! Just one tiny one on the corner, and nothing on the street to indicate they're in this one particular plaza. O.o I mean, a birthday party came in while we were playing the course, so obviously people KNOW how to get there, but if you're not familiar with the area, like us. . . I guess they make enough money to stay in business, but still. The employees at least seemed to get that the advertising wasn't the greatest.

As for the course itself -- it is shockingly challenging for something that is clearly meant for kids. There are a lot of tricky bank shots, and plenty of course obstacles to go around. Not to mention the monstrous decor -- skeletons, devils, bats, the Grim Reaper -- even a King Kong analogue. None of it actually moves or anything -- though I was constantly on-edge expecting something to scream or jump out at me at some point. The music in the place is also LOUD AS SHIT. And it's just classic 80s tunes for the most part -- you think they'd play Halloween-themed songs! It wasn't a bad experience -- I enjoyed myself more toward the end, once I relaxed around the decorations and came to grips with how the courses worked. But I think I prefer mini-golf that's outside in the fresh air. And quieter -- if we go back, I may actually invest in a pair of ear plugs. (Seriously, you can't freaking THINK over the music.)

-->Came home after picking up ice cream (as in, going to the grocery store and buying some ice cream and cones -- well, I did get to have the ice cream cone later, so I can't complain), and I ended up finishing up that chunk I was editing for the Holistic Assassin!Alice AU for my writing. I just -- wasn't feeling particularly inspired with "The Technicolor Phase" today. Mostly because I wasn't sure how to start edits on the next section, I think. It was easier to fix up what was left of that bit for the Assassin!AU. I still have a bit of a buffer for "Technicolor Phase," so it shouldn't be a big deal. Hopefully I can get back in the saddle next Saturday!

-->Watched some videos both before and after supper -- three from OXBox/OXTra (unheroic Spider-Man things you can do in the new game; super powers and weapons that are really more trouble than they're worth; and an old video on how Resident Evil 7, despite being a good game, doesn't really make a lot of sense plot-wise once you start looking at it too closely), and one from Kubz Scouts (more 60 Parsecs, with Jay testing if you can get an ending without landing on a planet -- seems the answer is no; after a certain point, the game triggers an event that forces you to land somewhere. Jay then attempted to get a new ending on a different planet, but got captured by space ape pirates instead).

-->And now currently doing a bit of the RP thing while also answering messages and preparing to get the latest "Scenes From Secundus" short up. So much to do, so much to do. . . Night all!
