crossover_chick-->Work was pretty okay -- got the first set of merges done from the processing company stuff! Working on part two now -- just trying to clean up what I can.
-->Weather was nowhere NEAR as nice as they said it was going to be. I did manage to get out for a walk this afternoon, but what happened to my promised warmth and sun? Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow. . .
-->Ended up not writing today, but I did get the latest bit of "The Technicolor Phase" up! Victoria Orange Found a way around the < span > thing -- copied the chapter into WordPad first, THEN into Archive's text editor. Only thing is, that removed my formatting -- which, admittedly, was just italics, but it was a small pain to put them back in. Probably still took less time than dealing with taking out unnecessary code that makes my chapters look weird, though. Tomorrow I'll get up Chapter 7 of "Fixing You!"
-->Watched a "Fun With Shorts" about modeling with the world's most unlikable narrator (seriously, wanted to punch the sexist pun-loving douchebag), and Helloween's latest Vampyr set -- full of hard choices, this one. And emotional moments ruined by dodgy skirt physics. And Helloween having to resort to the internets to get a save after he stuffed up a moral choice because apparently this game has one single save and you can never go back to an older one, which is a shit system and games shouldn't do that. >( I like the story, but now I'm not sure I'll ever decide to play it myself. (Although. . .thinking about it, BioShock Infinite might do -- no, wait, it DOES have the option of restarting from another checkpoint if you go to the menu. Not ideal, but at least there's some choice.) Still, good stuff.
-->SOMEHOW got my Thursday queue done despite nearly getting WAAAY too wordy in what was supposed to be a quick "refresher on this AU" post and generally having poor time management skills. I really have to remember not to get distracted reading other stuff when I'm still working on posts. . .
